Star Sword Nemesis is now available!

It is the year Earth Century 225, and the only hope for humanity's future in space lies in the hands of the Trans-Neptunian Objects, a utopian collective on the edge of the Solar System, dedicated to protecting the all-important Voyager 1 probe from the hands of the tyrannical Earth Sphere.

Eris is a stylish girl with heroic ideals training to wield the powerful mecha-slaying Star Sword Nemesis, but she has two problems: the first is that she has fallen head over heels for her fencing instructor, an exhausted older woman who Eris longs to bring light back to the eyes of. The second problem is that her instructor is Comet Halley, who was the Earth Sphere's legendary ace fighter until she was finally captured by Neptune... but only after killing dozens of Voyager Militia mecha in the process. Halley is one of the most famous turncoats in human history, and definitely one of the most deadly. Will Eris be able to warm Halley's cold heart, or will her longing lead to betrayal?

After twelve years of working on games, I've written a short novel, and I'm really excited about this one, it was a real fun one to write! It's a big dramatic wide screen baroque love story inspired by stuff like Gundam (the milf content in GQuuuuuuX really lit a fire under me), hot-blooded super robot anime, and Heaven Will Be Mine, which is why I was really excited to be able to get the artist of Heaven, Max Schwartz, to do the cover and interior illustrations for it. I'm a huge fan of hers and I've wanted to collaborate with her for such a long time.

I'm secretly a huge mecha anime fan, but I've avoided the genre in my own work because there's so much good stuff I've loved that I felt like contributing anything truly new was such an impossible thing to reach. This one's got some big ideas in it, though, so I couldn't hold myself back anymore... anyway, I hope you enjoy reading about Eris and Comet Halley as much as I did writing them!

Hey... can you keep a secret? Everyone knows that Sam Anon was the cool goth megababe healer in the party that defeated the Machine Devil, but did you also know her real name is secretly Princess Sam Under Heaven? That's right! The princess herself! She helped keep the party alive and fighting with her support and ravage abilities—who knows what powerful magic you could gain from this trinket of an all new legendary hero? This cute lesbian disaster has famously proven she'll join you on any road trip you tell her to... but getting to spread out her legs and rest at your desk would be nice too.

That's right! We're doing one more plushie in collaboration with Makeship, this one of Sam from Get in the Car, Loser! I've been holding onto the prototype of this one for a bit now and I'm really happy with how she turned out... I wouldn't be making these if I wasn't excited about them too! Man. She's so cute. Look, it's OUR GIRL! ...anyway. The way Makeship works is that they take crowdfunded preorders and only make that many, and they'll need to get 200 orders to make it happen. It'll cost $29.99 and the campaign will be running for all of Pride Month until July 2!

I've been looking forward to announcing this for so long, we actually designed her around the same time as the *Hyun-ae plushie, but of COURSE I needed to have her be accompanied by everyone's favourite little hater from Analogue: A Hate Story. She was also made in collaboration with Makeship and it took a lot of work to make sure we translated her complex design faithfully, including her headdress, but my rule has always been that I don't want to ever see merch that I wouldn't want to own myself—so I'm really happy we were able to get it right.

(Thanks again for all your support... we just passed the 12th anniversary of the game's release a couple weeks ago, and I'm deeply grateful that the story of the characters Raide and I made together twelve years ago has touched so many people. Even if *Mute would scoff at me for being so sentimental.)

We've just released our second DLC chapter that picks up the story of Get in the Car, Loser! from right after the final boss fight. Clocking in at 4-6 hours long, it features even more content than one of our normal chapters, two new party members with Emily's unique full-power Sword of Fate super meter, five new enemy types, two new bosses, an all new progression system, a new soundtrack both in battle and on the road... and shocking divine truths.

Over the past year of updating GITCL and working on this new chapter, we've tried to channel everything we've learned into the new battles and mechanics, and I'm really proud of the result—I personally think this one's got some of our most interesting fights yet, and I've put my whole heart into the writing on this one—I'm very excited to share the story of Emily Harmless, Prince Sam, and Jo of the Mountain with you all. Hi! Love Conquers All Games is looking for an artist in Ontario for a very small paid job producing illustrations for the pitch/prototype for an upcoming visual novel. We're the studio behind visual novels like Analogue: A Hate Story and the IGF award winning Ladykiller in a Bind.

Right now I’m looking for someone to make art that we’ll use in a pitch to get funding, but if it’s successful, I’d love to work with you on creating the full game in 2024 (if you’re available and want to, when the time comes). I’m happy to answer any questions and provide further information via email, but I can say that it’s an extremely queer romance story, and a fantasy genre adventure game, with expressive visual novel characters, and you’d be responsible for:

designing the two lead characters

preparing up to four pieces of art for a prototype/pitch deck

I’m looking for someone with availability at any time between February to May 2023. I’ll be accepting submissions until December 31, and I’ll start getting in touch in January.

Hey, did you know that our hot-blooded lesbian road trip RPG for love and justice Get in the Car, Loser! came out an entire year ago? I can't believe how time has flown—we've been working hard on the next DLC chapter that continues the story in an alternate universe, but if you haven't played the main game yet and defeated the ultimate final boss the Machine Devil, there's no better time! Over the span of the past year, we've pushed over 109 bugfixes, made a number of balance changes to make it easier (if you want it easy!) and harder (if you want it hard!), added a number of quality of life features, and just generally made the game better and closer to our original vision.
