Furiosa colored
*looks around the tags*
n....no one noticed that furiosa: a mad max saga. was the Iliad??
which makes fury road the Odyssey. which makes absolute perfect sense but one post called furiosa SHAKESPEAREAN. and like???!!!! no! older. much older.
*shakes this webbed site* THERE'S SUPPOSED TO BE NERDS IN HERE WHERE ARE THEY WATCH THE VROOM VROOM MOVIE IT'S GOOD CHRIS HEMSWORTH'S NIPPLES GET INJURED
THE ROAD WARRIOR (1981)
I cant breathe because of their cuteness
So I needed inspo for some scarification on a war boy and I couldn't find any reference pics for the symbols and tags in this dang game so I did it myself.
Started with the markings on various walls around the game. These are from the Skulltop transfer camp in The Heights region. (It's a cool camp made of old crashed plane parts.) Next place I went was the decal sets for the Magnum Opus.
Got a couple V8s!
The Great White region has its own distinct set which is shiny as hell. Represents the old dried up sea bed that makes up the lower half of the game map. This first one, according to Chumbucket, is a symbol of the Great White region itself.
I believe these are referencing Pink Eye.
Now to the hood designs! It's important to flank the almighty V8 with symbols of worship and cool decals.
Honorable mention, cause it's cool, is Dr. D's alleged burial site/shrine cave and the drawings all over the walls. Looks like a group of bikers (The Horde, I assume) vs some war boys (Citadel Aligned) in front of what I assume is Gastown. Complete with explosions and a pile of bodies. Your average Tuesday in the wasteland.
(Retconned of course after the release of Furiosa, but it's still a very cool piece of world building and lore exploration!) I'll add more as I find em.
Emojis from the Steam point shop! (MMNOTGOOD is such a mood)
