Recently discovered my husband has ADHD and now everything makes sense!

We’re eating dinner.

Me: Could you grab the salt please?

Comes back with the hand vacuum and start cleaning up something on floor. Puts it down and sits down again

Me: You forget why you got up

Is there an ADHD emoji?!

For months my husband has been complaining about the clothes he has to wear when we photograph weddings. And for months I have been telling him to go buy something. I didn’t know what was wrong with the clothes except he kept complaining about them.

Well, our first wedding is in 36 hours and he never bought anything.

Turns out he just forgot we spent $400 on sweat wicking stretchy golfing pants and shirts to wear while working, and they’re just fine.

"I got sidetracked looking at toys"

Despite my best efforts, the dog got into the garbage AGAIN while we were at church. It’s become a health risk for him.

Jon was already out on a quick errand to get coils for his vape.

I called him at 12:46 to tell him what happened and that he should go by Home Depot to get a child safety lock and something to hook it to the wall.

I feed our daughter lunch, put her down for a nap, and took a quick nap myself. I woke up to realize he wasn't home and 2 hours had gone by!

Needle Felting

Our daughter's felted llama toy got stuck to velcro and the yarn all got pulled out. Jon really wanted to fix it for her.

He watched a youtube video and ordered the tool to fix it on amazon. The tool came in and the toy was fixed in a timely manner, but just when I thought a miracle had happened...

Jon went out and spent an hour and another $200 on expensive alpaca wool because he wants to make toys for our daughter.

Will the said toys ever get made?... no. no, they won't.

Will I be selling the entire needle felting kit in 12 months because it hasn't been touched? yes. yes, I will.
