I just so happened to get a conveniently timed assignment where I was able to do a cover for the Great Gatsby just in time for the new movie (which I’M SUPER EXCITED ABOUT!) This is without a doubt one of my favorite books so I was really glad I had an extra excuse to draw this. This ended up taking twice as long as I intended because I originally had Gatsby in the picture, ended up getting really mad at the painting, and had to completely cover him up digitally. hahahah sorry Gatsby you don’t get to be in this picture.
