Self-Knowledge Questionnaire ( take the test here )

RATIONALITY
You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesize and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.
AGGRESSION
One part of your character is anger in all its forms: frustration, outrage – and when anger is suppressed – bitterness, grumpiness, and bodily aches. Fundamentally, frustration comes from hope: you get upset because you expect your life will be more than a valley of tears. One way to deny aggression is to direct it inwards, as self-criticism. But you’re at your best when you acknowledge anger, and act it out clearly and in a focused way, with honor.
EXHIBITIONISM
There’s a strand in your nature which loves making an impression – perhaps with your clothes, or conversation, or in a self-revealing blog or a novel. You like to dramatize yourself, to pose as a unique, perhaps mysterious person, to joke or exaggerate your part in adventures. Though you might more than once have been called a show off, it is actually a generous tendency: you want to please and entertain others. It could be the start of good teaching and leadership.

“Who do you think? You think I didn’t know about the identity of your dearest daddy?”
“Dearest-- ah, you must mean Largo...” Not that it was much of a secret anymore that Natalia wasn’t King Ingobert’s true daughter. It’s been some time since she’d last given the Black Lion any thought. “You worked with him as God General, didn’t you Sync?”

“You really don’t look anything like him. Except for one thing, I guess.”
“I’m sorry, I don’t look anything like whom? You’re not making much sense, did you hit your head on something hard?”

Sync is finding something very funny right now. I wonder what it could be.
“If you’d be so kind as to share the joke, I’m sure we could all use a good laugh Sync.”

Sync notes the tears with an almost detached interest. Huh, he’d never seen Natalia cry before. She looked good doing it. Not that he would ever say something like that outloud. Satisfaction prickles in his chest that he’d been able to do that to her.
However, an entirely different type of satisfaction blooms soon after. His mouth quirks upward into a smile.
“Heh. Looks like Luke was right to tell you. I actually kind of believe you a little bit. You really are a hopeless princess, you know.” Sync knew himself well enough to know that had thier situations been reversed, Sync would have had little issue with ruining the lives of the replica and the nobleman. She was a better person than he was.
Which really wasn’t a surprise to anyone. “You’re going to Belkend, right? I’m not going to stop you.”
Wiping at her eyes with a gloved hand, she took a breath in an attempt to recompose herself. Sync had managed to get the better of her this time. A scowl had knit blonde brows by the time she looked back to the masked boy.
“Goodness Sync, if you were that worried about him you could have just said so. There’s no need to toy with people so.” It made a weird sort of sense-- if Sync had known before she had then that meant “Luke” trusted him at least a little. And as such the replica wouldn’t have come to pester her unless it was something worth his time. Something that troubled him enough to seek out the princess of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear. Whar would have happened had the response been different? “I wont hurt you unless you attack first, you can have a civil conversation with me.”
akashicgale
“That so?” Sync’s tone was lazy, like a cat toying with a particularly interesting mouse. However, under the mask his eyes were cold as steel, watching her for any sign of lying about her words.
He needed to be sure. He wanted to make sure.
“Even if that meant he could fulfill his promise more fully? I mean, you barely even know this Luke, don’t you? I think it would be pretty easy. Definitely a lot easier than sending that Replica off to the Tower of Rem. This Luke isn’t your childhood friend or your fiancé.”
“One life for two others. Sounds like pretty easy math to me. You guys are all about sacrificing one life for more.”
Both hands place themselves firmly on her hips, hiding how her fingers trembled. In anger or in anxiety? It felt like a little bit of both.
“How could you say such a thing?! He is his own person, I couldn’t just sacrifice him for my own happiness!” Even if what he said was true, even if she didn’t know this Luke all that well, he’d trusted her with the delicate topic of his identity.
Tears pricked at the corner of her eyes, a delicate flush spreading across her cheeks as emotions boiled within. “I miss Asch and Luke dearly, it hurts my heart knowing that they’re gone! Both of them were special to me...but I wouldn’t sacrifice anyone for them. No matter how much I love them. It’s not my right to give up a life that doesn’t belong to me.” Rubbing away the tears Natalia couldn’t help but glare at him. “He’s put his trust in me. I don’t intend to betray it.”
akashicgale
Sync let out a slight laugh when when she reached for her arrow. He finally decides to jump down from his perch, crossing his hands behind his head and leaning back against the tree. “Relax, Princess. I’m not looking for a fight. Not right now, anyway.”
“I’ve known for a long time now. I’m a little surprised it took so long to tell you. Guess he really is still kind of a baby.” His words are mocking, but they lack his usual bite. “So, you’re not going to try and drag your precious Asch out? The Luke you know now isn’t him, but he’s still in there.”
“He talks about you.”
“Asch...?” Just hearing his name makes her chest tighten with grief she thought she’d long since passed. The wounds of finding out who this Luke was had been ripped back open, leaving her as raw as the day he’d died.
Truthfully this was news to her-- hadn’t Luke told her that both of the men she knew were gone? “He...he talks about me? I-- No, I had no clue that....that was even possible.....” It seemed like a stretch to believe that Sync would come all this way to mess with her ( although he’s done stranger things in the past ). Natalia bit down on her lip in thought. If Asch could somehow be brought back, if he was really in there--
“I couldn’t do that to Luke. Don’t misunderstand I miss Asch dearly but...I couldn’t. Even if I knew how to.”
akashicgale
@chrysostema
“So, I’ve heard you found out about Luke,” Sync said from his perch on his tree. He’d been waiting for her to finally leave that city and had stationed himself between Kimlasca and Belkind to bide his time. He doesn’t drop down and doesn’t make any sort of threatening motion.
Instead, his head cocks to the side in an almost similiar fashion to a bird. He regards her with green eyes that are barely visible from her point of view beneath him. He makes no point of trying to hide them.
“Are you going to do anything?”
Instinctively her hand moves to the quiver strapped to her back, fingers grazing a single arrow...before falling back to her side. “Sync....”
When he makes no move she closes the distance and peers up through the foliage at him. Maybe it’s about time to be getting used to running into him this way. “So you knew already then. Interesting to think he’d trust you with this sort of information.” Both arms crossed over her chest, the corners of her lips turning down at that. “What do you mean do anything? I will continue to support him in whichever way I can.”
What is your anger type?

You love to run your mouth. Verbal abuse is your weapon when your angry. You can come across as bold and intimidating and know exactly what to say to hurt somebody. Nobody can win an argument against you and most will avoid getting into one with you in the first place!

He saw it there, the hope. The plea that he could actually be the other one, the original who she loved so dearly. It was awful, the way she looked at him, the way she came close to him and demanded an answer. Instinctively, Luke pulled away, turning his head from her, ashamed that he could not be who she so desperately hoped he could be. “I’m not him either,” he said quickly, squeezing his eyes shut, his hands moving to grip the sides of his chair. “I’m not Asch.” Though he wanted to be, to be either one of them instead of himself, then everyone could at least be half happy.
Slowly, he relaxed his grip, knuckles having turned white, and found his hands were shaking harder than they had been before. His eyes opened, coming back into focus as he turned to the princess once more. He looked sad, ashamed, and he was. He would never be who anyone wanted, who they’d prayed would return. All he was was Lorelei’s sick joke, a knife in the hearts of anyone who knew the men who made him.
“Lorelei,” Luke started, his voice coming out quiet and shaky, “… Lorelei couldn’t bring them both back… So she made me from them. I am them. But I… I’m not them…” How was he supposed to… explain this? It made sense to him, as much as he hated it, but to voice it and tell someone else… How was he to do that?
“I’m… I’m sorry, I… I lied to you all, I’m not…” His tongue seemed to be caught, a leaden weight in his mouth. Looking into Natalia’s hazel eyes; ones that had the hope dashed right out of them, that belonged to the woman who had cared for the other Luke and who loved Asch, he felt nothing but shame. “… I wanted to be them. I wanted to be them for everyone,” he said softly, lowering his gaze again. “I tried to. But I’m…” A sad chuckle came from his throat as his hands turned palm upwards in his lap, still shaking from the anxiety. “… I’m just a fake.”
Ever so grateful for the fact he’d adverted his gaze from the way her expression fell, Natalia drew in a silent breath to compose herself. It wasn’t as though she hadn’t expected what the response would be– of course it wasn’t Asch. The small bud of hope that had quickly taken root in her heart wilted. Foolish, foolish girl….
Yet there wasn’t any hostility in her voice when she’d managed to find it again. “I’m rather disappointed…. It seems you really did forget your manners in those two years. Lying isn’t very polite.” Pushing herself back onto her feet the princess smiled at him, the combination of the two people she missed the most. “Truthfully I feel ashamed for having not noticed sooner. It would have saved you quite a bit of stress."
Turning to cross over to the window she repressed the need to sigh, swallowed the lump forming in her throat that threatened to break her voice. Both, yet neither. Luke and Asch...and not. This was much more complicated than the concept of replicas. "Well I suppose there isn't much to be done about it now then. Although I'll have to ask you to stop trying to be both Asch and Luke. You should be acting like yourself." Watching the knights mill about outside, the maids flit to and fro, a gardener who was taking a break to survey his work-- anything to keep her focused enough on the things that still needed to be said and not the pain in her chest. Just when she thought she’d gotten Luke back....
“Please do not apologize to me. You have nothing to apologize for....” Natalia blinked back the wetness in her eyes. Not the time, not the place.
roaringheart
“My dear Princess,” announced the gift-giver so cheerfully and pridefully, taking delight in the creature who stared at the crowd of humans in the room with a certain degree of CURIOSITY yet confusion and fear. It appeared nervous. The noble continued, strolling over to the caged beast. “This quite exquisite beast has been shaped as an exotic pet, if you will. I bought it from a rather esteemed noble from Malkuth, very well-known for his massive collection of rare monsters and the such. I’ve been there; they’re all very well mannered for beasts.”
He gestured over to the sitting liger-esque creature. “It took quite a lot of twisting to get this fine specimen. The noble told me of its origins. Apparently a hunter had trapped it rather than what he was originally searching for. Instead of killing him, he sold him in the black market, something or other.” A hand waved and he shook his head, clasping his hands together afterwards. “Not much else is known about it, other than its resemblance to a human. Strange, quite strange, I admit.” His hands detached, lifting along with his chin. “It’s quite the docile creature, however. Which is why I thought it’d be the perfect company for a princess so kind and nurturing such as yourself!”
As for the creature himself, he kept his dual-colored eyes trained on the two, not with HOSTILE sentiment but with confusion. He hadn’t the slightest clue who these beings were, what was being said, why he was here… And they had forced a rather large… pelt ( what was really a plain shirt ) over him, and it was itchy, though he kept painfully still, ears drooping. A pitiful whine left him.
Natalia felt sick, pale faced as she stared in absolute horror at the creature being offered to her like some sort of prize, a “gift” he’d called it. Thankful for the fact she was faced away from him, the blonde princess felt both hands tighten on the metal bars and her teeth ground together. It looked nearly human.
A delicate hand pushed past the metal prison bars to carefully offer to the beast. He’d said it was docile and the timid look in its eyes seemed to echo that claim. Past experience with ligers made her a tad nervous to be moving so carelessly with it and yet….
“That is quite the story for such a being.” Despite the way her heart twisted for its mistreatment, Natalia’s words were controlled, almost conversational as opposed to how she felt. After all it would be a bad idea to offend someone offering Kimlasca-Lanvaldear a gift. Steeling herself she looked back to smile at the man politely. “My kingdom thanks you for such a– a prestigious gift.” Seeing as it hadn’t taken the opportunity to rip through the slim fingers offered out to it, Natalia shifted her attention to the locking mechanism and forced it up. “I wish to see it uncaged though before determining if I could keep it in the palace.”
theroadto-redemption
He wasn’t sure if he’d ever been in a world so… big before. It was too bad that the moment he stepped onto the surface from his ship he was bombarded and didn’t have even a minute to look around or find someone to ask about the situation. There were Heartless everywhere! As he made his way, moving through the outskirts of the city, he kept a look out for anyone who may know anything about what was going on here.
Finally they seemed to be thinning out, and not a moment too soon. He heard someone calling out to him and glanced over his shoulder, cutting through a Soldier and pausing long enough to hear what was being asked of him. At least she seemed to have a sense of authority, what with the guards standing around her waiting for her signal (if it ever came) to rush him. A few more slashes and a well timed Dark Firaga and the area was finally cleared.
The Keyblade dissipated, as he stood straight, turning to face the woman with the arrow pointed straight at him. Not the most… comforting signs when faced with a first impression. “I’m Riku,” he called, raising an arm to wipe his brow, the other being raised to her in a sign of peace. “I’m… an exterminator, I guess. Who’re you?”
“An exterminator?” Releasing the tension from her bow, its arrow slowly fell from the center of his chest until it hung loosely by her own two feet. “My how convenient!” At least it seemed someone knew how to take care of these beasts-- nothing seemed to keep them down!
Natalia approached the stranger ( Riku, he'd introduced himself ) despite the sounds of uncertainty from her guards. Honestly they acted as though she couldn't handle herself. "I am Princess Natalia of Kimlasca-Lanveldear. Pleased to meet you, Riku. You have my greatest thanks for your extermination; many people were beginning to fear leaving their own homes thanks to those monsters." She smiled up at him, pulling her bow back to rest over her shoulders once more. "Although they seemed to become wary of your presence as well."

There was nothing more he wanted to do than to pull his hand from the princess’ hold, but he didn’t. His brow just furrowed, the bridge of his nose wrinkling from the sheer effort it took to keep from shouting out he wasn’t him. He wasn’t Luke. He had the same name, the same face, but he would never be that man who she traveled with, the man she had thought to love. He wasn’t Asch, either, though. He would never be, and he was scared about that fact. The kingdom of Kimlasca wanted a royal marriage, it had since Asch was first conceived. That was the point of royalty, wasn’t it?
But… even though he only knew her for a short amount of time since his arrival, Natalia had always been so kind. She was strong, a natural born leader, someone who could rule this country justly. He… he was far from any of that. But he could pretend, couldn’t he? It would be what Asch would want. Luke could deal with it. But would it be all right to just accept this when she didn’t even know the truth? He’d been lying so long now, he was sure that the moment she knew, he would be cast out, or worse.
It was either that, or force her into marriage to a person she didn’t know – this Peony guy being part of that. Slowly, Luke pulled his hand from Natalia’s, using it to brush back the fringe on his face. With it sticking up as it was, he was rather reminiscent of the God-General that had given himself so he could exist. He hadn’t cut his hair at all since he came back… maybe he should.
“… Natalia, before anything…” This was it, he was… he was going to tell the truth. His hand began to shake as it fell back into his lap, and his bangs back in his face. “… Before any decisions are made,” his voice was trembling, too, why… why couldn’t he be strong now? “I need to tell you the truth…” Slowly, with effort, Luke raised his gaze to lock onto Natalia’s. He swallowed and took a deep breath, “I’m… I wasn’t the one who… who you traveled with all that time ago.”
It would be a lie to say he didn't look like enough like Asch that there was a painful twist in her chest, one she'd felt when he had died and her world became as delicate as porcelain. With enough time her heart had begun to heal despite that fateful night in Tataroo Valley. She'd learned and grown from her loss, her grief. Luke didn't seem to notice the way her lips pursed for just a moment before his hair fell back into his face.
Its the way his words waver that really catches the princesses full attention, immediately the hardened royal facade falls away and eyes fill with concern. "Luke...?" Brows knit together in confusion, a hand tucking a stray lock of hair back behind her ear. "I don't understand, what do you mean by that? You aren't the one I traveled with back then....? But then who..." No, don't get your hopes up, don't get them up when you already know the answer. It couldn't be him.
She pushed her chair back ignoring the way her heart was seized by hopeful nerves, moving around the table and leaning down before him to get a closer look at his face. "Who...who are you then?"
discountviscovnt
Asch looked down at her blush tinged cheeks and smiled again, wanting nothing more than to make her smile with cheeks as rosy as they are now for the rest of their lives. He had a lot of time to make up for, after all. His own face heated up again when she touched his cheek. It just… finally. He was finally here, back in the place he belonged.
He had anticipated her agreeing, and was so glad that he had it set up. “Thank you,” he replied, reaching to take the hand that had touched his face so gently, then turning it over to press a soft kiss to the back of it. “This way, then.” Asch led her out of the room and down the way to the dining hall. The duke pulled the door open for her and stood aside, leading her into a lightly decorated room. The long table was draped with a white linen cloth, swaying gently in the breeze from the opened windows. Daffodils sat in small, plain glass vases, bobbing gently. Their breakfast was presented already, as Asch had planned, two omelets and a side of fruit with toast and jam. It wasn’t anything completely extravagant, but it was delicate. Something to keep them energized through the day.
He brought her in and pulled out her seat. “I hope it’s okay,” he said in a moment of fleeting doubt.
The kiss to her hand was small, no grand gesture behind and yet Natalia felt her heart fluttering as he began to lead her towards the dining area. For as much time as he’d been away from the life of nobility it seemed Asch had not forgotten his manners. Leaning her head happily against his shoulder, her eyes widen at the sight of the table already set for two.
“My, did you cook all this yourself Asch?” Incredulously her eyes flit across the food that looked fit for...well, royalty. It all smelled divine as well. A soft giggle passes her lips with the tiniest shake of her head. “You anticipated my answer before you even asked me, didn’t you?”
Tucking her dress under herself as she accepted the seat, slightly giddy herself, Natalia waved away his uncertainty ( even if she found it endearing in a way ). “Please stop worrying, dearest, everything looks perfect. I’m glad to be able to spend time with you like this.”
