"Don't be afraid. As I said, I'll be gentle~ - with these words, Charlie opened her mouth incredibly wide, and lifted the Lute, starting to swallow from her head.
Charlie was not deceived - despite the ease with which the princess of Hell began to devour the angel, she was as gentle as possible, confidently but softly swallowing Lute in large gulps, one by one sending more and more of her body inside Charlie's throat, esophagus, stomach.
Helping herself with her hands, Charlie swallowed Lute whole in just a couple of minutes, sending her feet following the rest of her body with the last loud gulp, until finally all that spoke about the presence of Lute in the hotel was her cup of tea and Charlotte's swollen belly.
"Urp! Mmmm, how delicious~ Thanks for the food, Lute~"
Lute couldn't help but let out a moan or two as each gulp brought her further and further down Charlie's throat, the angel quickly coming to realize exactly why someone would willingly choose to be devoured by someone else. She didn't seem to even register that she was making these noises out loud, until she was finally swallowed and she heard Charlie speak.
"O-Oh, um... y-yeah... don't get used to it?" Lute blushed heavily, not that anybody could see it anymore. "...can you still hear me out there, or am I muffled?"
"Someday you're going to have to face Vaggie and figure it out. One way or another. - Charlie said, pushing the tea aside and coming closer to Lute - But not today. Today...." Charlie reached out her palm to Lute's face and gently took her chin. "I'll be gentle,"
Charlie smiled warmly at angel, and taking her by the shoulders, said:
"If you're not ready, tell me now. When I start, I won't stop. It's only going to end when you're in my belly."
"I know.." Lute closed her eyes and looked away for a moment, until she felt Charlie's hand gently cup her chin, at which point her eyes snapped back open again, and her cheeks flushed bright red.
She stammered for a moment, too flustered to speak for a moment, especially as Charlie took her by the shoulders. It was understandable for a first-time prey to be nervous, and sure enough, now that Lute was moments away from being, her nerves were getting the better of her. Eventually though, she managed to speak up again.
"Just do it now, before I try to back out."
"Then a couple of weeks, with the possibility of extending to a couple of months. But you know... - Charlie thoughtfully tapped her chin with her finger. - Of course you won't do that, but judging by what Vaggie told me, if you report to your superiors about your desire to become someone's food for an indefinite period, then Heaven will approve of it. Well, I'm not surprised - here Charlie chuckles - You've seen Sera, they don't grow to such incredible sizes on sweets. I could have sworn that if she had wanted to, she would have turned the whole Pride into fat on her gut....Sorry, I digress."
"Alright, that sounds good to me. A few weeks as tit fat, maybe longer if I don't wanna leave right away." Lute finishes her tea, figuring it was best not to waste it. Plus it was just really, really good tea. She placed her cup back down, then stood and approached Charlie.
"I think it's probably best if you do it. I... don't think I'm ready to face Vaggie again, not yet..." Lute's expression turned sombre, clearly thinking back to what she did to the fallen angel. "I know I owe her an apology, and I will... just... not today, okay?"
"I see...." Charlie poured herself and Lute more tea. "I know that devouring is easier in Heaven than it is here. Here in Hell, not everyone can decide to change their not-so-good (or even - pretty bad) life to being a part of a predator's body. And pride is one of the main reasons. I don't want to upset you, but from this point of view you are closer to us than to the angels. It would be ironic if it weren't so sad...."
After taking a long sip, Charlie continued:
"How prey will feel inside pred largely depends on pred. And reformation works quite simply - prey should want to come back, and usually pred can only delay reformation. Angelic enchantments for exorcists are an exception, confirming the rules. The other exception is infernal contracts, but we'll omit them. Oddly enough, your case seems to be close to what happens here at the hotel, often a chance to take a break from the rest of the world. However, sinners usually come to us because Vaggie and I are the safest preds in Hell from their point of view, but you came to us because your conscience torments you. Hmm....I think a couple of months or even years like breast fat will really benefit you..."
Lute drinks her second cup of tea as she listens to Charlie, occasionally nodding to make it clear that she was indeed paying attention. As the demoness talked, Lute began to smile; a small smile, yes, but a genuine smile nonetheless. She waited until Charlie had finished talking before she finally spoke up again.
"You know... I think I'm finally seeing what she sees in you." Lute chuckles slightly, taking another sip from her cup. "I think years might be a bit much. Heaven won't be expecting me back anytime soon, officially I'm "on sabbatical", but they might figure out something's up if I disappear for THAT long."
Charlie listened attentively, without interrupting, to Lute's confession, and after she finished, she finished her tea and took a long sigh.
"Ooooh...It was easier when you were a bitch, no offense. Simply....Tell me, how familiar are you with the culture of devouring? What do you even know about it? Because now, after your words, instead of just devouring you and forgetting, I want to help you. So, I have to learn more and understand. Or to decide which one of us is going to eat you....or to try to dissuade"
Charlie looked at Lute seriously, she was clearly not joking, and went into "therapist mode" rather
"I'm not unfamiliar with it, at least from the predator side of things. I don't know much about what it's like to be prey though, considering I've never been on that side of it. I know prey can come back from being devoured, given how often my colleagues would take turns with eachother, but I never thought to ask how that worked."
"How could I believe in redemption if I didn't at least listen to you? - Charlie said, putting a couple of sugar cubes in her tea and stirring it carefully before taking a sip. - We really didn't get along at all, from the very first meeting, and if you came in armor, let alone talking about weapons, the conversation would have been at least with Vaggie next to me."
Charlie took a sip of her sweet tea and continued,
"I'm sorry that things turned out this way, but I still don't see how exactly that led to your desire to get on the dinner plate."
"I was getting to that..." The old Lute resurfaced for a moment, unable to hide her irritation, but she quickly took a deep breath to calm herself before continuing.
"I've been spiralling for a while. I've made more mistakes, hurt more people, pushed damn near everyone else away. I didn't really plan to do anything about it, but... well, this morning I finally took a long overdue look in the mirror, and I realized... I really fucking hated the person staring back at me."
Lute finishes her tea and places the cup back down. She was starting to tear up, but maintained her composure for now. "I don't want to be that person anymore. I want to be better... So, I'm gonna start by letting go of my pride." She realized this would probably need some explaining, so she continued.
"I've never been eaten before. The other exorcists indulged in that with eachother, but I would never allow myself to be prey. I was better than that, it was beneath me. That changes today..." She looked at Charlie. "I'm sorry for everything I've put you through, you and Vaggie. I'm not asking you to forgive me, and I'm not going to force you to do this if you don't want to."
Charlie was taken aback for a second, her face showing her amazement. Coming to the hotel to become the food of one of the local predators is a fairly common event (even too much for Charlie's taste). But for an angel - Lute! - to descend from heaven (which is also full of predators, the same exorcists!) to descend into Hell to be voluntarily eaten!?
It was so out of line with what Charlie knew about Lute that the girl wanted to know more.:
"The long version, please. And come in, I'll get some tea." - Charlie said, leading angel to one of the tables in the hotel's hallway, and returned a few minutes later with a hot kettle and a couple of cups.
"Thank you..." Lute followed Charlie into the hotel, closing the door behind her, and took a seat at the table. While she waited for the demoness to return with the tea, she took a few moments to think about what she wanted to say.
A part of her was disgusted to even be here at all, and disgusted with herself for willingly coming down here to offer herself to "demon scum". But right now, the part of herself that wanted to do better was winning out.
Once Charlie had returned and the tea was poured, the angel took a sip from her cup before beginning.
"I know we haven't gotten along... well, ever. So, it means a lot that you're willing to listen to me." Lute sighs, and takes another sip before continuing. "I've always been kind of a bitch, and I'll admit I used to take pride in that. It's not an attitude that's gotten me many friends, I can tell you that much. So after Adam... well, you know... I think that broke me..."
Coco lets out a loud burp as she finishes her sixth Wumpa Shake of the day, her fat fingers still typing away on her laptop. "Damn, these things are good..."
Anybody would have thought her brother Crash would be the one to get addicted to these drinks, but Coco had found them so delicious, she'd found herself unable to stop drinking them. And it was already starting to show in her waistline...
//Lute is probably never getting a redemption arc in canon, but that's not gonna stop me from giving her a very kinky one myself.

"No, it's a valid question, I get it." Lute was admittedly relieved it was Charlie who answered the door rather than Vaggie, her former colleague would have likely had a much angrier reaction to seeing her here, and that would have made it more difficult to be polite. As it was, her tone of voice was different from previous times they spoke; instead of spiteful anger, she just sounded... tired.
"You want the long version or the short version?" Lute took a moment to swallow her pride. "Short version; I want to be eaten. By you or Vaggie, doesn't matter. Long version? Depends on if you're willing to hear me out."
Noticeably, Lute pronounced Vaggie's name with a hard g, as the fallen angel preferred, instead of a soft g like she'd been pronouncing it before.
