Hello gentlefolk, and welcome to the intro post for Regency Femdom Week 2020, an anything-goes creator’s week for folks who love starched collars and smut. Read on to find out how to take part!
The week is scheduled to run from October 19th to 23rd. Up until then, we’ll be posting inspiration and answering any questions that come up; the week itself will be for showcasing everyone’s incredible work!
Any piece of creative media is extremely welcome: prose, poetry, art, cosplay, craft, original works, fanworks, you name it. The only requirements are that you take inspiration from the English Regency era, and that you depict relationships or scenarios that fall under the label Femdom.
Regency era? The early 1800s in England; think Pride and Prejudice. Note that your work does NOT have to be strictly historical or realistic! We believe that fun things like dragons and a lack of racism make art significantly better.
Femdom? We’re interested in seeing work that places women in control. This can be non-sexual or sexual, ‘soft’ or 'hard’ kink, dark and intense or wholesome and sweet. Submissive partners can be any gender. 'Femdom’ includes trans women, because trans women are women! And we might joke about “pride, prejudice, and pegging” but there’s no requirement to depict a particular act or type of relationship.
Because of the theme, this will be an 18+ only event. Minors are asked not to contribute or interact with any posts related to the event - this is crucial for the safety of everyone involved.
