hey, y'all. so, after over six (!) years with this blog, i've decided it's time to head on out.

i've loved running this blog and sharing so much goodness from all my favourite shows, as well as doing my best to champion my baby show chuck whenever i can. tumblr has always been such a generous community, and it’s been a fun ride. but at this stage, i feel like i've truly accomplished everything i can on this site. things are dwindling, and with that my ideas, and at this point it feels like i'm investing more energy here than i really need to. i made this blog to be a source of fun and joy for me, and i wanna take my leave before it stops being that, so as the great tswift says, it’s time to go.

with that, i'm also gonna stop posting on @nocontextchuck, and helping out at @chuckvsthegifs. no context has been a particular wonderful silly joy for me on this site, i've LOVED maybe making people laugh a little at the utter silliness of our show, but there's only so much stuff a girl can post from a five-season, 91 episode show that ended almost 10 years ago, lol, and i feel it's also run its wonderfully dumbass course.

i still adore chuck, obviously, and i'll still be posting and reading fic as halfachance on FFN-- you can't get the chuck bug outta my brain that easy. i'm leaving everything up and active across the blogs here so hopefully some of my stuff can make y'all smile if it pops up at some point. and, my tags page is still up if you’re looking for something particular, whether christmas gifs or episodes tags. i have one last new gifset going up tomorrow.

“Past Tense, Part I” and “Past Tense, Part II” aired on January 2 and January 9, 1995. They’re part of a long line of Star Trek time travel episodes, but only a few of those time travel episodes visit an Earth that is in the characters’ distant past but the audience’s near future. As such, they are among just a handful of Star Trek stories that take place during the part of the Star Trek mythos where humanity had to overcome its differences to get to the utopia awaiting us in the 2300s.
