Ever since she was little Kyleigh had always seen boys as just friends, playmates to get dirty with and wrestle on the front lawn. Aunt Joan had even suspected Kyleigh might like girls more at one point, but as she got older that all changed. She didn't know why her niece was so clueless when it came to the opposite sex but she was going to say she was just so in love with Tyson that other guys just didn't seem that interesting to her. Either way she too hoped that Deshawn would find someone for himself as well and end up just as happy as his two roommates. "Mmm you read my mind. Let's go!" Holding open the door the older lycan waited for Monica to walk through before she did as well, then made herself comfortable on the couch. "You can put on whatever you like. I'm usually still working at this time so I have no idea what's even on any longer." Joan laughed softly.
Any time that Stephon had with Ashlyn was cherished, but he loved the idea that they had accidentally created their own tradition together. Just sipping on their wine and enjoying each other's company. Of course if it led to other things he wasn't going to protest, but he never went into the evening planning on that happening. "No problem. Let me know if you want more." Taking his place beside Ashlyn the former AEW world champion reached for the remote to his entertainment system and turned on his spotify playlist. "You think you'll ever have a gender reveal party?" He asked as the music played softly in the background. Today had Stephon thinking about a lot of things when it came to his relationship with Ashlyn. He wouldn't mind having another baby or two, but of course he wouldn't even approach the subject unless it was something she wanted as well.
Whenever she walked into the house and was greeted by Dobby first Kyleigh laughed. It had taken her some time to get adjusted to the cat since she was never fond of them, but this one wasn't so bad. Didn't require a lot of attention from his owner, but still let them both know he was there. "I think he knows I wasn't fond of him at first." She teased as she moved to sit down on the couch, kicking off her sneakers. "Ugh it feels good to sit down again. And to eat." Grabbing the bag she reached in for her fries first, using a napkin to set them on before she got Tyson's out as well. "How do you think he's gonna do with the babies? Has he ever been around kids before?" She asked about Dobby. Kyleigh had always heard cats could be kind of mean towards little ones but any animal could really, it just depended on their temperment.
Once upstairs, Deshawn quickly hopped into the shower to freshen up. After he was finished he changed into a pair of basketball shorts and a plain tank before heading into the guest room to hop into bed. He wasn’t ready to head to bed just yet, but he did hop on Instagram to see if his cousin or Kyleigh had posted any photos from the shower. He didn’t see anything from them, but he had seen a post from Matt Jackson congratulating the couple on the new bundle of joy they were expecting. He was shocked to see that Matt hadn’t let it drop that they were having twins. He found himself looking just a little too long at the picture of Kyleigh, fighting back a feeling of jealousy as he shut off his phone. The last thing he wanted to do was binge shows into the night with his Aunt and Joan, but it was better than sitting here doing nothing. With a sigh he stood up, putting on his best poker face as he joined the ladies in the living room. “I hope ya’ll left some of that for me.” He said as he sat down on the couch between them. “What are we watching?” He asked out of curiosity. “Designing Women,” Monica replied. “Of course,” he replied with a laugh.
Since she was mid sip, Ashlyn nearly choked on it when she heard the question Stephon asked her. “The thought has crossed my mind, a lot more frequently lately because of Ky. But at the same time I’m not sure how I would be as a Mom.” She took a sip before leaning her head against his shoulder. “I already know you’re a great dad, I don’t have any doubt when it comes to that. Why? Have you been thinking about it?” She asked out of curiosity.
That was a good question considering the fact Tyson had never had his cat around kids before. He figured they could slowly introduce Dobby to the twins, and if he seemed standoffish they could keep him at a different part of the house until eventually he came around, but he hoped it wouldn’t come to that. “Dobby is pretty chill, I think he will be okay with the babies. But I really don’t have a lot to go off.” He chuckled as he dove into his McFlurry. “I haven’t had one of these in forever, I forgot how good they are.” He said as he continued to enjoy his treat.
Always so tender, always so kind towards her, Sera briefly wondered what kind of good deeds she had done in this life to have Seth by her side? She hummed to herself as she thought of what dish could be fulfilling now and whilst her head found penchant to rest against his shoulder under she decided to lie down on the bed. "Should we order some mexican food or... maybe Chinese takeout?" Her hand panned out to play with his hair softly. "What do you feel like having? Oh, but we need wine, a lot of wine"
“You mean besides you?” He asked in a teasing tone, glancing over with a matching glance as he took in her reaction to his words. “---both sounds good. Let’s see what we can find.” He reached into his pocket to pull out his phone, quickly pulling up the Doordash app to see what options were available for them. “If you want wine maybe we should try some Italian food?” He suggested. “There’s a local bistro we could order from, but if you have your heart set on Mexican or Chinese we can go that route, whatever you want.” He replied, happy to see things were finally starting to feel normal again after the ordeal with her family they had been through.

" mm-hmm, " she agrees in the form of a soft moan, velvet cadence filling the now limited space between them. as he lists the places he could absolutely ruin her in, imagination of her own carries her away. it creates a palpable heat throughout flesh, and the thought of cruelly being made to wait the bare minimum hour it would take to get everything together and go back to the hotel alone was enough to make her whine. it was downright evil, torturous. to make matters worse, his canines had nipped at the exposed flesh of her neck. whimpering as he continues the ministrations, hands move to grip onto his broad shoulders, ones which undeniably carry if at least partially the weight of this company. then, he says that. becky knows unequivocally what that means; she had to be a good girl. " please... " voice trails off as she looks up at him through hooded gaze, frantic flickering over every feature she could. it took every ounce of self-control to not jump him right then and there, to tear him apart. and god, how she craved the calamitous sin of the rough perfection he would placate her with eventually. oh, how beautiful she was when she's ruined by omega, too. " y'are goin' t' make me beg f'r it, " it's not quite easily distinguished if this is a question or an observation.
He could vibrantly visualize taking her in each place he listed off to her. The thought alone had all the blood in his body rushing downward to his second head, however from the look on his face you wouldn't have been aware of how he truly felt as he continued to relentlessly tease her to no end. “Mm…that’s right.” He slowly allowed his fingertips to trail along her sides, maintaining eye contact the entire time. “I want to know how bad you want me. Better yet, where.” He smirked. He brought one of his hands up, letting fingertips trace the curve of her jaw — the sexual tension felt between them, so thick you could cut it with a knife. He leaned in just enough to the point his lips were teasing her lobe as he whispered his next set of words into it. “---so be a good girl and tell me what I wanna hear.”
I will literally ruin your life if you let me.
He shrugged a bit, his eyes wandering her body shamelessly before quickly meeting her eyes. She might have noticed him overly looking at her chest, but he also didn't care much. "But if we're being honest here...women can be sinners just as much as we can."
Mina was far from a saint. She loved attention and was willing to do whatever and anything to keep said attention on her. Of course she noticed right away how his eyes scanned over her frame — she liked it, wanted more even. “That’s true.” She crossed her legs, leaning forward just enough to give him a better view of her cleavage. “---where do you think I fall into that category?” She asked out of curiosity.

Just like at Wrestlemania, Kyleigh had been there every step of the way for Joe as he spent the week prepping for Summerslam. He knew he wanted to do something special for her once the event was over, he just didn’t know what. And that was when it dawned on him. He thought back to the week of Mania and how she had let him know about a certain pair of Converse she always wanted. Because of her size, he knew he would have to get whatever he wanted custom made. But could he make it possible without her being in the actual room for measurements? He knew he wanted it to be her dream pair, from the color right down to the material the shoes were made from. He somehow managed to ask her without getting a million questions out of him in return. He even found someone able to make what he wanted just from a picture alone to go by. He could only hope that all his efforts paid off in the end. Now a week later, he relaxed on the couch with her, grinning as he reached for his phone to watch the box being delivered through the ring app.
“Hey, baby. Do me a favor and get that. My feet are killing me right now.” He faked a groan as he placed his feet on the coffee table, kicking back as he relaxed more into his position.
the room had never felt so quiet. nikki sat on the edge of her bed with her phone resting loosely in both hands, the soft glow from the screen illuminating tired eyes that hadn't known real sleep in weeks. roman's name remained at the top of the conversation, and beneath it were the last five messages he'd sent only moments ago. she read them again. and then again. not because she'd missed something the first three times, but because each time they settled differently inside her chest. the first message made her ache. the second made her feel guilty. the third... the third one refused to leave her alone. i'm more hurt that you felt you couldn't come to me. it wasn't an accusation. that was the worst part. if roman had yelled — if he'd called her selfish, cowardly, unfair — she would have known what to do with that. she would have accepted it because she'd spent months saying those very things to herself. instead, he'd managed to say the one thing she'd spent months trying not to think about. he wasn't just hurt that she'd left. he was hurt because she'd never believed he'd stay. nikki closed her eyes. she could still remember the nights he'd sat beside her on the couch without saying a word, sensing she was overwhelmed before she'd admitted it herself. the mornings he'd noticed she'd skipped breakfast and quietly placed something in front of her anyway. the countless little moments where he'd shown up without being asked. roman had never been loud with his love. he was patient with it. he loved through consistency rather than declarations. and somehow... she had convinced herself that consistency had an expiration date. that one day he'd wake up, look at the complications that came with loving her, and decide she wasn't worth carrying anymore. it hadn't been something he'd said. it wasn't something he'd done. it was fear. her fear. old wounds dressed up as certainty. she had mistaken anxiety for intuition. her therapist had tried telling her that once. sometimes our minds become so determined to protect us that they start predicting pain before it exists. she hadn't believed it then. she believed it now. but now was too late. a shaky laugh escaped her. god. her voice sounded foreign inside the empty apartment. i really did decide for both of us. she dropped her head into her hands. how many nights had roman wondered what he'd done wrong? how many times had he picked up his phone only to realize there would be no reply?
how many explanations had he invented because she'd refused to give him the truth? the realization sat like lead in her stomach. she hadn't just broken his heart. she'd left him alone with questions he never deserved. her thumb hovered over the keyboard. she wanted to answer immediately. she wanted to explain everything. every panic attack. every sleepless night. every irrational certainty that she'd become too much. but the cursor blinked back at her. waiting. because explanations over text had gotten them nowhere. still... there was one thing she couldn't let him believe. she began typing. you deserved better. delete. i was terrified. delete. i loved you too much to watch you leave. delete. she stared at the blank message again. why was it so much easier to leave than to explain why she'd left? her phone buzzed in her hand. for a split second her heart jumped into her throat. roman? no. a weather notification. she let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding and laughed bitterly at herself. she was becoming ridiculous. she looked back at the conversation. roman had ended it. he was kind and respectful. he'd honored what they'd agreed. tomorrow. everything tomorrow. so why did she still feel like there was one sentence she needed him to hear tonight? her fingers moved before she could stop them.
[ SMS / CONTACT: roman / SENT ]: you're right.
she watched the small "delivered" appear beneath it. almost immediately she continued.
[ SMS / CONTACT: roman / SENT ]: we said we'd stop trying to have this conversation over text.
another pause. she rested her elbows on her knees, staring at the floor before typing once more.
[ SMS / CONTACT: roman / SENT ]: but there's one thing i don't want you carrying into tomorrow.
she hesitated longer this time. her heartbeat seemed impossibly loud in the silence. finally—
[ SMS / CONTACT: roman / SENT ]: you didn't fail me, roman.
the words hit her harder after she'd sent them. her eyes blurred. she swallowed against the lump in her throat. another message followed.
[ SMS / CONTACT: roman / SENT ]: i convinced myself that if i left first, it would hurt less than waiting for the day you stopped choosing me.
the confession she'd buried beneath months of silence. nikki stared at the screen. no typing bubble. of course not. he wasn't obligated to answer tonight. she set the phone face-down on the mattress beside her and leaned back against the headboard. she only hoped that when tomorrow arrived... roman would still look at her the way he used to. nikki stepped into the café, the warmth of the room immediately surrounding her as the door closed softly behind her. for a moment, she stayed near the entrance, letting herself adjust to the noise — the quiet conversations, the clatter of cups against saucers, the low hum of music playing somewhere in the background. she had kept her appearance simple, almost intentionally so. she wore a soft cream knit sweater that hugged her figure without feeling too polished, the sleeves slightly pushed up past her wrists in a way that felt natural. her dark jeans fit comfortably, paired with ankle boots that gave her a little confidence without making her feel like she was trying too hard. her hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders, styled but still soft, and her makeup was subtle — a little mascara, a touch of warmth in her cheeks, nothing that hid the exhaustion around her eyes. nikki hadn't realized she'd been holding her breath until she finally let it out, slow and shaky. seeing him in front of her felt different than all the nights she'd imagined this moment. there was no screen to hide behind, no distance to soften the weight of everything they had left unsaid. just him. her roman. the man she'd spent years convincing herself she needed to let go of, and somehow the same man who still felt like home. she lowered her gaze to her hands, twisting her fingers together as she fought the instinct to retreat. ❝ i almost didn't come, ❞ she admitted quietly. ❝ not because i didn't want to see you… i did. i do. i just didn't know if i had the right to. ❞ her eyes lifted back to his. ❝ i've thought about what you said, about how you were hurt that i didn't come to you. and you were right. i should have. ❞ she swallowed, her voice softening. ❝ i spent so much time convincing myself you were going to leave that i never stopped to ask if you actually would. i made that decision for both of us, and i hurt you because i was afraid of being hurt first. ❞ a small, sad smile crossed her face. ❝ i don't expect you to just forget that. i don't expect everything to magically be okay. i just… i need you to know that it was never because i stopped loving you. ❞
There weren’t many things that made Roman nervous, but knowing that he would be face to face with Nikki within a matter of hours terrified him. He wasn’t sure he could trust himself around her without letting his true feelings be known. Yeah, that was the purpose of the whole meetup, but he wasn’t sure he was ready to take that step again. All he could think about was their text conversation, more so all the words he spoke to her. He hadn’t wanted to make any kind of confession, but damn it the can of worms had already been opened. There really was no going back. And why would he want to? Not after he looked at her messages half a dozen times throughout the entire course of the night. He knew sleep wouldn’t happen. How could it? Not when his mind was racing a mile a minute. However despite the fact he said things should be said in person, he still ended up texting a few things, only just to delete them a few seconds later. He could only hope she hadn’t been looking at the screen when it happened.
Before he knew it, it was morning which meant it was only a matter of time before he met up with Nikki. He didn’t want to appear as if he was trying too hard for her attention, but at the same time he wanted to make a statement as well. Which was why he paid extra close attention to detail. He normally chose to wear his hair in a manbun, but he left it down for a change because he knew she liked it that way. He also sprayed himself with a favorite scent of hers, only to see the look on her face once she realized what he was wearing. He placed on a polo shirt, a pair of demi jeans, as well as a new pair of custom made Jordans. He gave himself a quick glance in the mirror before making his way out toward the cafe. Thankfully he arrived first, so he was able to find them a spot in the corner, but a spot she would clearly be able to see once she entered the establishment. When he spotted her, he felt his breath hitch in his throat. How could she be so effortlessly beautiful? He thought to himself. “I’m glad you did,” he replied, flashing a grin as he gave her a quick look over. He ushered her over to a chair, stopping once he heard the following words she spoke.
“Look, Nikki. I had time to think about everything you said to me. And fuck it does kill me, but I see where you were coming from. I was at the start of my run, and there was no way for you to know how things would go.” He sighed heavily. “If anything I’m kicking myself for not making it more obvious to you how much I fucking.” He glanced around to see if anyone had heard him cuss, and thankfully no eyes were on him. “Made it more obvious how much I care about you, and there wasn’t and still isn’t anything I’m not willing to do for you. I love you, Nik. There’s nothing that can stop me from loving you.” He reached out to touch her face, just hating to see that sad look among her face. “Don’t look at me like that, I fucking hate seeing you sad.” Without thinking he leaned in to brush his lips against her, the weight of the world he once felt gone the second their lips touched. “I missed you so much, babe.”
Honestly Kyleigh was happy to hear that Tyson wanted to wait until it got closer to Halloween for them to get pumpkins. She really didn't feel like having to fight with people over them when there was clearly enough for everyone and then some. Plus with the twins coming soon she figured they would be focused more on them than anything else. Still she wanted to get some since it was her favorite holiday and she couldn't wait to get the babies in on it. "That's good with me babe. Looks like I'm already trying to sneak out a couple of them anyway." She chuckled as she ran her hand over her giant stomach (well giant in her eyes). If she didn't laugh at how big her stomach looked she would cry, which they both knew she hated to do. When he mentioned the maze her eyes lit up. Now that she could handle, especially since she remembered they had little spots to sit down throughout it. "Yeah that's doable. Plus you gave me doughnuts so I'm good to go." Once they were both ready of course. No need to rush anyway, today felt pretty special and Kyleigh wanted to enjoy it for as long as she could.
Tyson would have been okay with them just enjoying the scenes and being within one another’s company if Kyleigh wasn’t up for the maze. But there was part of him that was hoping she would be able to manage. He wanted to pop the big question once they made it to the end, thinking it would really make the moment that much more special. Of course just the thought was making him nervous all over again, because all he could think about was what he wanted to say. He wanted the moment to be perfect right down to the last detail, but was that really possible? He needed to get out of his mind fast otherwise he was going to go insane and chicken out all together. “How about we go after you finish eating your doughnuts?” He suggested. He took one last big sip of his coffee before tossing the empty container into a nearby garbage bin.
“All men are sinners.” // surprise me
"Well Mina, I can't speak for all men, but I'm sure as hell not a saint myself..." Chaeyun chuckled bashfully.
Mina tilted her head to the side as she glanced over at him. She had always been one for the ladies, but hearing him admit to having faults intrigued her to say the least. “At least you are self aware,” she replied before flashing a hint of a smile.
[03.] sender lifts receiver onto the kitchen counter and spreads their legs. + reverse any of my girls besides Willow for Gabe your choice :3
@chvmpiionsx
Gabe smirked, taking control of Mina and sets her on top of the kitchen counter. He presses his lips right against her own then spreading her legs wide open, their foreheads coming together and begins pulling off her sweatpants. "Daddy's hungry to eat up this pussy...." He whispered.
She could feel her heartbeat quicken at his words, goosebumps felt along the length of her arm out of anticipation of what was to come. The moment she felt him pull at her sweatpants, she lifted her hips, bringing her ass up to make the removal easier for him. “Mm…show me what you got,” she whispered as she eagerly pushed his face closer to her womanhood.
One of them had to bite sooner or later so Mariah was done playing games. What better way to show her you missed her by showing it? Don't talk the talk but walk it too. She could kiss Jaida over and over and over. ❝ Mmm, you trying to steal me away? ❞ she smirked after Jaida bit her bottom lip.
“Yes,” she replied blankly. Normally she would have tried to cover up the truth with a smart ass comment or two, but for once she felt like being honest — especially since Mariah was doing the same. “You don’t have a problem with that, do you?” She asked, smirking as she leaned in to brush her lips lightly against the blonde’s.
Well as long as she knew what she was going to say….
Still Kyleigh wasn't really sure if this was a good idea. What if Stephon got suspicious and started asking questions. Or worse, what if he asked her about it the next time they hung out? She wasn't going to lie to him and say she knew nothing about it. That was just mean, and she didn't want to have their relationship built on a bunch of lies. "No I don't think he's ever seen us together so it should be alright." Probably trying to convince herself more than Willow that this wouldn't end badly. It was just that she really liked him and typically she was the one that messed things up in some way. Scooting back a bit on the bed Kyleigh made sure there was no way he could see or hear her and just waited. There was no way the other woman could tell, but her heart was hammering inside her chest even if a smile was on her face when she heard his voice. He did sound a bit surprised when he answered and saw it was Willow, and it took everything Kyleigh had not to giggle when he asked if she was watching him. She bit her lip wondering if he was going to be honest that it was her he left with that night, very happy when he confirmed it. So to her it meant he wasn't ashamed to be seen with her, that was a good sign! He even admitted to them hanging out, something that made her smile so big she ducked her head to hide it. But when she heard that he actually wanted to see what would happen in the future with her the half lycan's head shot up and she had to cover her mouth with her hand so he couldn't hear her shocked gasp. If this was any other given situation she would have to call bullshit, but she was right there and heard what he said with his own voice. Holy shit!
"I suppose." She attempted to be serious, but in a matter of seconds she was giggling. "He must be wondering what the hell that was about! I'm glad he wasn't busy though." Or with someone else she thought to herself.
If Willow thought for one second that Swerve had another woman in the room with him, she wouldn’t have even attempted the FaceTime call in the first place. But she knew her friend, and from the moment she saw him leave with Kyleigh she could tell right away that he was smitten by her. Why would he want to risk it by shacking up with someone else? It just wasn’t happening. “At least now you have a clue where you stand with him.” She couldn’t help the smile that showed against her features. “The moment you two become official, and Gabe is back in town we’re sooo doing a double date!” She could barely contain her excitement at this point. She was having so much fun with Kyleigh that she hadn’t realized how late it had gotten until she received a text message from Gabe asking if she still wanted to Facetime before he headed to the Gym. Willow took a moment to glance at the message before asking him to give her a few more minutes. If anything they could always push back their session to when he was finished with his workout. “Dang. I didn’t realize just how late it was starting to get. How bout one more drink before we call it a night?” Willow suggested as she lightly tossed one of the last remaining BuzzBalls in Kyleigh’s direction.
@chvmpiionsx for jaida parker for the spotify shuffleeeee.
❝ everybody's laughin' in my mind. rumors spreadin' 'bout this other guy. do you do what you did when you did with me? does he love you the way i can? did you forget all the plans that you made with me? 'cause, baby, i didn't. ❞
Jaida was used to the version of Jey where all he did was crack jokes all day. If she was being honest it was one of the reasons she fell for him in the first place because of his care-free attitude. So where was this coming from? Better yet. Who was this other guy he was referring to? “Who’s spreading rumors? And why the hell are you even entertaining them?! You know me. I don’t get down like that.”
seth sat alone after the arena had emptied, elbows resting on his knees as he stared at the tape wrapped around his hands. his body ached in familiar places, but it was his chest that felt impossibly heavy. he could still feel it. the shield fist. for a fleeting moment, muscle memory had overridden years of bitterness. there had been no hesitation, no calculation. just instinct. three fingers curled together in a gesture that had once meant trust, loyalty, and brotherhood. tonight, it had meant something else. forgiveness. or maybe the beginning of it. seth had spent years telling himself he had made peace with the past. he wore confidence like armor, laughed louder than anyone else, and convinced the world — and sometimes himself — that he had long since accepted every consequence of swinging that chair. but acceptance wasn't the same as healing. healing required honesty. and roman had forced honesty out of him tonight without saying more than he needed to. it's always been about us. those words echoed louder than the crowd ever had. not championships. not the bloodline. not even the shield. not who stood taller at the end of the night. us. seth rollins and roman reigns.
seth closed his eyes, letting the sentence settle somewhere deep inside him. for years, he had believed @chvmpiionsx only saw the betrayal. the chair. the night everything fell apart. he had accepted that maybe that was all he would ever be in roman's story — a scar that never quite faded. but tonight had changed something. roman hadn't looked at him with hatred. he hadn't looked at him with pity, either. there had only been respect. the kind that survives everything. the kind that refuses to die, no matter how many times two people try to bury it beneath pride, anger, or distance. seth laughed quietly to himself, shaking his head. ❝ you always had a way of saying exactly what i didn't want to hear. ❞ his voice sounded strange in the silence. ❝ so... it's always been about us. ❞ he repeated the words carefully, almost testing whether they were real. ❝ i spent all these years thinking i was chasing you. ❞ a pause. ❝ maybe we were just chasing each other. ❞ he leaned back in his chair, eyes fixed on the ceiling. ❝ i hated you. ❞ the confession left his lips easier than expected. ❝ i hated what you became. i hated losing you. i hated watching us become strangers. ❞ another quiet laugh escaped him. ❝ and somehow... i never stopped respecting you. ❞ his throat tightened. ❝ i don't think i ever stopped loving you either. ❞ the admission hung in the empty room. the kind of love that only exists between people who built each other, broke each other, and somehow remained woven into one another's lives anyway. ❝ you've always understood me better than anyone. ❞ he smiled faintly. ❝ i spent years pretending i didn't care what you thought. ❞ his fingers absentmindedly brushed over the tape on his knuckles. ❝ that was a lie. ❞ his gaze drifted toward the locker room door. ❝ i heard every word you said tonight. ❞ his smile softened. ❝ and for the first time in a long time... i believed you. ❞ seth drew in a slow breath. ❝ maybe we don't get to go back. no one gets that. but maybe... ❞ he looked down at his still-clenched fist. ❝ ...we don't have to keep carrying the weight of who we used to be. ❞ his thumb traced the outline of where the shield fist had formed only hours earlier. ❝ it'll always be there. so will we. ❞ he smiled to himself, tired but genuine. ❝ you were right. it has always been about seth rollins and roman reigns. and maybe... it always will be. ❞
During their time in the Shield, Seth had always been his guy. He was someone Roman trusted, someone who he went to for advice. Unlike his fellow brothers in the group, Roman didn’t have the experience of working the Indy circuit to make his way into the company. Some would even say he was handed his career, when that couldn’t have been further from the truth. However regardless of what the haters mentioned, Seth never once let that slide with him. That alone meant more to Roman than he could ever put into words. That’s why when the betrayal happened it felt like a slap in the face. The weight of that chair against his back was heavier than anything he ever faced in the world. He knew then that things would never be the same, that he could never look at Seth the same again. He never thought he would ever be able to get over that feeling, to dismiss all the negative thoughts he had against the other man over the years. But somehow he managed, and their match made it happen. All he could think about was moving forward, and who knows? Maybe rekindling that friendship he once shared with Seth. Anything was possible. That fist pump they shared melted away any ill feelings he felt toward his former friend. No brother.
He leaned against a locker as he listened to Seth speak. He didn’t dare interrupt him once, finding it nice they were able to finally have this much needed conversation after all this time. “Even with the shit you pulled on me I think that’s what hurt the most. Us becoming strangers. You not being there for me after everything.” Maybe he had started to depend too much on Seth. He needed the time alone to grow, work on himself and improve his own craft without depending on Seth to take on the bulk of everything. He was seeing this now. “There’s no way we can go back to what we used to be. The shit definitely won’t happen overnight, but I guess I’m willing to try if you are.” He couldn’t believe what he was about to say next, but since they were being honest with one another, it was only nature for him to be honest as well. “I missed you, man. I even miss that dumb ass music you make me listen to.” He chuckled. He couldn’t resist holding his fist out for Seth to fist bump if wanted. “What do you say we hit the road together for old times sake?”
