Charlotte couldn’t lie, being in purgatory was boring. Sure she didn’t get to succumb to human fragility, but being tethered to one place sucked. Charlotte absolutely hated that she had to return to where she was murdered every night. That house was not a home and he was still there with his past mistress that he turned into a wife and their four children. The very moment she could move freely, Charlotte was out of there. Immediately she went to her favorite coffee shop to grab breakfast and headed to the park. After being inside for so long all she wanted to do was enjoy the outdoors. It wasn’t long before she found a bench and sat down to tuck into her meal. “I could literally eat all day. Seriously, I already have my next meal planned.” She confessed to the person sitting next to her, tearing off a piece of her croissant and daintily popping it into her mouth. This was the best thing about being a ghost, eating whatever you want and it not showing at all on your body. “I have, what? Six of these? Want one? They’re fresh from the bakery and I definitely don’t mind.”
