Wish I would’ve gotten the ends just a smidge lighter so that the blue would’ve really popped, but didn’t listen to my gut. I always tell myself to listen to my gut; one of these day’s I’ll always listen to it lol. Still turned out pretty and fun, plus she was happy! It’s always a blast working with vivid colors :)
nothing is as tender as annotating your favourite books. it’s like leaving a piece of your heart on the pages for somebody else to find.
Love my career choice. Becoming a hairdresser, 4 and a half years ago, was one of the best decisions of my life. I’ve always had an artistic side and lived life a little different than the others around me. I love to care for people and try to bring goodness and love to their lives. One smile at a time, if needed. The people who sit in my chair become family. I truly care for each and every one of them. They trust me and allow me into their worlds. I get the privilege to be a part of some of the biggest moments of their lives. It is such an honor. Moments that’ll be froze in time. Captured by talented photographers. I get to look back and look at my “art” but mostly I get to look back at the joy my “art” brought to that person and the people in their lives. Nothing warms my heart more than making others smile and feel happy. I love to bring my clients’ inner beauty to the outside so that everyone around them can see just how much they shine. What is this blog to be? Been forever since I’ve been apart of tumblr. Maybe I’ll just document my growth through life and the connection to the things I love. Share my craft and just enjoy art.
