ahhh, some family stuff happened so I gotta leave for a bit. Frankii, I’ll reply when I get back!! I dunno if that’ll be later tonight or tomorrow, but I’ll try to come back on tonight.

Carmen was sighing in relief as the day drew towards it's end- the half term rush had rendered the shop a part-time creche, with the school holidays flooding the Isle's streets with children. Thankfully Anita had been around to help out, charming various swathes of magical youngsters with displays of indoor snow, rainbows that chased them across the shop and carefully sculpted clouds. The greying cat now snoozed upstairs in the flat as Carmen and a few staff tidied the shop up a little.

As much as he enjoyed working at Paperfields, he enjoyed crowds just a little less. Maybe a lot less. While always willing to answer questions for any shopper looking for help, he tended to drift off towards the less busy areas of the store when large groups of people wandered in.

After another busy day, that’s where he found himself. Checking on stock and making sure books were in their proper place. There was always some form of agitation whenever they were found not in the right order.

After completing his task, he wandered near the front of the store, spying his boss doing some of her own work. “You need any help?”
