Hey! It seems as though running a Tumblr blog is a trend now (though I would hardly consider it "blogging" for most of you lot), so I've hopped on the bandwagon.

I'm not much of a blogger myself, but I am in the practice of writing field reports - unfortunately. I am also a chronic workaholic. It'll take time to form any sort of habit. But to introduce myself...

I'm Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade. Christ...I'll be 58 in November. I have Masters level education and hold two certificates. I have two adult daughters, neither of which have any public social media presence. The elder is an accountant, the younger has just begun her career in special education, and I couldn't be more proud of them both!

Evidently, there is a feature to ask questions, so talk to me!

My name is Lavender, but I also go by V! She/They pronouns. I'm 21, and I have similarly found my passion in special education! I hold an Associates Degree in English. I currently work full time hours and go to college/university. I am on EST time. I am Engaged to be Married in 2026 🫣💞💍

Loved the new case write-up, Dr. Watson! I think you did a good job visually assessing Peter, even if you couldn't deduce his entire family history like Sherlock. I'm sure Mycroft will be happy about finally being invited to the wedding!

Thank you very much! I appreciate that. I do try my best with the deductions… Though next to Sherlock, everyone looks like they’ve missed a few chapters of the manual, don’t they?

And yes, Mycroft’s… ‘invitation’ was less a gesture of goodwill and more an unavoidable political negotiation. We’ll survive. Probably.

That said, I am seriously considering seating him next to Lestrade ( @cigarette-cases ) ánd @therealharrywatson ). Purely for scientific observation, of course…
