🌸 - It might be cheating to pick Cinderscar, but I really like their mentor/apprentice dynamic! I think it's so funny how they seem very different but are still a very close pair despite that.

Aside from that, I really like her relationship with Mumshine!! I can imagine them being really great friends and I love seeing her defending them.

✨️ - At first, I thought Duskkit was going to be a spoiled princess type character, given her interactions with her clanmates. I really like her trending in a more headstrong warrior type direction and her relationship with Minnowtail is really great! I'm excited to see where her character goes once she's apprenticed.

Minnowtail ☁️ and/or 🍃?

☁️ - Oogh...I think Minnowtail in BogClan would be really interesting. I'd love to see how her characterization would manifest there without the barn or any of the daylight warriors. Plus, I think it'd be really interesting to know if she'd think BogClan was justified in cutting off water or not!

🍃 - Hm....this is a tough one. Monarch Minnowtail aside, I'd love a deputy Minnowtail. I think her being deputy would go over. um. interesting with the rest of the clan. Also, her relationship with Minkpath would be so much weirder.

minkpath 🌈 perhaps.....

🌈 - I would honestly love to see Minkpath not become deputy again. As much as I love him I think it would be good for him to realize he can be happy without needing to live up to his family name. Other than that, I'd also really like to see him get more vulnerable and capable of accepting change. I think it would be really nice for him to have an apprentice to help pick himself up too!

DustyClan applications are now open!

Less than a moon ago, DustyClan's only Reverend, Cranestep, was found murdered on his way to the half-moon meeting. There were no clues about his murder aside from brown furs and the vague scent of RustClan found at the scene. Merlinstar has tried her best to hold her clan together, but many of her cats are eager to turn the blame to the clans outside their borders.

Now, DustyClan is a clan held divided, only barely held at bay by their leader while tensions simmer beneath the surface. Will the cats of DustyClan put away their biases in order to solve Cranestep’s death, or will they let mistrust and doubt destroy them from the inside?

Chasing Thunder is a 16+ warrior cats roleplay set in the American Great Plains during the 1890s. Chasing Thunder centers around three clans - PrairieClan, DustyClan, and RustClan - and the new world that they’re living in following a war with the brutal Red Claw Gang.

Chasing Thunder focuses heavily on player engagement and allowing players to affect and become invested in the story. The actions of individuals matter greatly, and may permanently change the course of the plot. Players will be given the opportunity to suggest their own plot ideas and create characters as part of overarching story beats in order to influence the world of Chasing Thunder.
