Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!! This year's been a bumpy ride and a true test to say the least. I'm very grateful for having some amazing friends by my side. Something I've never told anyone: I used to look at everyone's candid laughing pictures and think "aww so cuuuute" and then I'd see mine and be like 😳😑🙅🏻🙅🏻😫 because I always thought I looked crazy. I've learned to embrace it, and now I'm less insecure about showing everyone what it looks like to be happy as a clam. 🙃

**LONG POST** We read this and think how simple these words and this concept are. This is almost a no-brainer sentence. Why does it even need to be written or said? Why does something that is seemingly so obvious need to be reminded? Because this is a choice that not enough people make on a daily basis. Not enough people choose to be kind. I'm currently going through the most difficult time of my life to date, and I feel like I am constantly reminded that not everyone chooses to be good or to be kind or to try. I won't go into too much detail, but four days ago, I began coming to terms with my current struggles and feelings. After months and months of trying to just brush things off, I decided to open up more. Three days ago, I broke. I was broken. Two days ago, I experienced one of the most terrifying moments in my life. Never did I think I would feel the way I did. I felt like I had hit an all-time low..like I had hit rock bottom..like I had nowhere to go. Lost. Stuck. Confused. Suffocated. Heartbroken. Lifeless. Purposeless. I didn't understand why things were happening the way that they were. I had so many questions but no way to get answers. I could only talk to a stranger and try to let out all feelings and emotions I had suppressed. I could only bring myself to open up to someone who knew absolutely nothing about me prior to my spill of emotions. Thinking that I had had enough and after gathering all my strength to get up the next morning, I was reminded again the very next day that not everyone chooses to be kind. Yesterday, someone that barely knew me..someone that I have never harmed went out of their way to intentionally try to hurt me and my feelings. I was once again confused. I started to question and regret why/how I wasn't brave enough to be a coward. I don't understand. Frankly, I don't normally open up on social media like this, but this is important. You never know how your actions may change someone's life. Your actions could possibly be what pushes someone over the edge or what saves them and pulls them back in. You never know, so please remember...in a world where you can be anything, be kind.
