for @housekinoexchange!!! you asked for something relating to phos and/or antarc and the moon arc, and i’m a theology nut so i wanted to do something hearkening back to classical catholic paintings. a subgenre of religious iconography i thought was most appropriate for phos’ veneration of antarc and their self-hatred (especially considering ch 83) was that of archangel saint michael’s defeat of satan. i hope it’s to your tastes!! if you would like a copy of the fullsize image for personal use just send me an ask and i’ll give you the link ( ; n vn)7

Papercraft Phos! The latest in my experiments to find crafting materials that suit the gems. I’ve tried vellum, holographic paper, glitter…. This time, I used layers of tissue paper with flecks of silver and gold for the hair, stained blue and green with markers, and craft jewels for the pupils of Phos’s eyes. I think the final effect came out really pretty!

Andalusite - Mohs hardness of 7.5 - The forgotten knight

They’re a good fighter and sometimes use two swords, when they get serious Andalusite tends to destroys both their swords and themself. Their priority is to protect everyone, they have a strong sense of chivalry and for better or worse never gives up no matter what. Most gems seems to know very little about them and sometimes forgets who they are, even lunarian tends to ignore them during their attacks. They tries to use this at their advantages but unfortunatly they will end up being taken away to the moon without anyone noticing.

(I wanted them to have hair that remind a bit of both Utena and Anthy, with the bun looking a bit like a rose.)

phos finally said the word that i found was the only one able to describe houseki, this is exactly what character development is about this is why phosphophylite is the best protagonist anyone could imagine, this is why the mere thought of wanting them to be who they were before their trauma is the most disgusting thought imaginable
