I'm a fourth year student at Beacon Academy, a Faunus with a rare trait, and the daughter of Dr. Bartholomew Oobleck and Red Fox. I think I finally need to get this out. I can’t do this anymore. My life has gotten very busy and I’ve been working on improving myself and my relationship with my Heavenly Father. This has been fun. But, I’ve grown unhappy with the direction my blog has gotten. I still love my characters. However, I need to let this go. Maybe someday I’ll revisit my characters and this blog. But, right now, I need to take a step back from the rp community and RWBY. I honestly can’t take being in the RWBY community anymore. It’s too much and toxic. Not to mention I’ve found that my mental health has improved since I stopped coming on here.

I greatly appreciate my time on here and everyone I’ve met. This was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I need to let this blog go. I hope everyone stays safe and bye.

Cin was enjoying some time in the backyard when there was a knock at the front door.

Red had just gotten the twins down for a nap in their room when she heard a knock at the door. After making sure the knock didn't wake the twins, she silently left the room and went downstairs to answer the door.

"Hello?"

At the door was a gentleman in his golden years. He had on a red flannel shirt, nice blue jeans, and a cane in his hand. A hat that said ‘Great War Veteran’ sat on his gray hair. His eyes were a familiar green color. The man grinned. “Hello there. You must be Fire Box. Pleasure to meet you, young man.”

Cin peeked into the room and suppressed some laughter. He teased her Dad too when they first met.

Red had to suppress her annoyance at the comment and at being called a man. She didn't want to show this stranger that he had hurt her feelings. She simply smiled at him.

"Good afternoon, Sir. What can I help you with today? Are you here to see Cinnamon? I couldn't help but notice you have the Pineforest eyes."

Said man chuckled. “You bet your britches I am. I’m Theodore Pineforest. Glad to see people still recognize the eyes.”

Cinnamon trotted into the room with a big grin on her face. She was excited to see him. “He’s my great Grandfather. We grandchildren and great grandchildren call him Opa. Finally decided to meet Mom and tease her when she opened the door too.”

“It’s so much fun to tease the young people. I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I’d pop in for a surprise visit.” He said as Cin gently tugged him inside. He looked at Red. “Nice to meet you.”

"In the neiborho- never mind. It's nice to meet you too." Red shook her head as she closed the door after Theodore came inside the house. "Cin, make our guest comfortable and I'll make some tea. Is there a specific kind you like, Mr. Pineforest?"

“Yes Mama.” Replaced Cin.

Theodore glanced at Red as he sat down at the table. “I’ll drink pretty much anything. My wife made sure to get me accustomed to pretty much very kind of tea. Also, no need to be so formal. We’re all family here. You can call me Theodore. You could even call me Opa. After all, you’re the Mother of my great granddaughter. So, that technically makes you my granddaughter.”

Cin giggled. “You’re not wrong about that.”

((Don’t know why I thought of this, I just did. This is inspired by a comic dub video I watched a long time ago. The other characters mentioned on this chat belong to @doctoroobleck, @alphabeowolf-ism, and @firebluevixen. Also, please don’t take this seriously. I wrote this as a joke.))

Cinnamon: *Runs up to Oobleck while holding a large bottle with a straw in it.* Hey Dad, look what Aunt Ava gave to me! She was drunk, but I made her go to bed before I left.

Oobleck: *Looks at her.* That’s nice, sweetie. What is it?

Cinnamon: I don’t know. It’s in Dutch. I can’t read that. But, she said it’s some kind of soda or something.

*As Cin starts drinking it Oobleck looks at the bottle. He immediately recognizes it as a hard liquor bottle. He snatches it away and Cin gets annoyed.

Cinnamon: *Perfectly sober.* Dad, if you wanted a drink you should’ve just asked.*

Oobleck: *Looks at Cin, then the bottle, and takes a sip of it.*

A few minutes later:

Oobleck: *Completely drunk while being dragged home by Cin.* Are you sure that wasn’t soda? That was soda-lisious.

Cinnamon: *Annoyed* Yes, I’m sure. You’re going home and going to bed. Aunt Ava needs to categorize her stuff better so she doesn’t accidentally give me alcohol again. I’m still a minor, for goodness sake.

The next morning:

*Oobleck wakes up on the couch in the living room. Red is standing next to him with her hands on her hips, clearly annoyed.*

Oobleck: What happened?

Red: You got sick all over our bed!

Oobleck: What did you expect? I was drunk.
