And you know what’s insane they didn’t have that “friendly criticism” for Katie who was the biggest Nesta Stan on the planet and should’ve “known better” than to give Gwyn “nesta’s sword” but no they loved anything she did which is exactly what I was saying. What did Katie do the moment elriels bucked because she did something hypocritical? She went CRYING about how hated she was and wanted sympathy. All while her bill still wasn’t paid LMFAOO. Then went on some more to cry about how elriel artists are so so unprofessional✅. Keep it up I have a lot of screenshots to share. Wanna talk about how you didn’t know, I’ll show you.

Every artists who didn’t soothe her ego and kiss her boo boos was unprofessional. And she’d lie to hell to vilify them. So what artists are being protected? Just ones you like? Ones that would give you a bad rep? Ones that believe elriels are the bad guys?

You weren’t bullied. It’s friendly criticism. It happens to all “professional” artists. Stop playing victim. Ewriels have always been the problem but we will finally be free of you all soon!

Right because a 100 gwynriels in my notifications calling me stupid wasn’t bullying LMAOO. It’s ok to dogpile a new artist but not some asshole that’s been on one for two years ok

Anyway idc enough to extend this or tag it or have whoever follow me. There’s so much more I could “spill” but this isn’t about layering the drama. I wanted people to stop with this “we protect artists” bs because it was exactly silence that allowed her to do what she did for so long so gleefully and there are a lot of hurt artists as a result. Not a clout chase, not a quest for attention idgaf about any of that or else I would be putting out content meant to satiate the worst of people in this fandom. (And I’d blast all this on a platform I actually use). But I never cared about that, I cared about making friends and protecting them. Can’t even do that apparently.

All this while using Elain crying (by another Elriel artist) as her pfp and saying “I don’t care” when told to take it down.

And she put this in her stories for her friends to witness and applaud. For every artist in her circle (all) to see and think “wow elriels really are bad”. All while also boasting about not looking at elriel content and crying about how she was being harassed.

And to clarify: I don’t think telling ppl to “jump” over faeries is appropriate.

But also I cannot remove the context of what she was here doing in her “hater era”. You need to understand that there wasn’t a single day of rest.

I’m just an artist who got shit all to lose atp because I’m actually really really really annoyed with this fandom and I don’t run a business, I was just interested in making friends but I saw more and more with time artists slip away because of behavior EXACTLY LIKE THIS, I’ve been witnessing THIS behavior since before I joined the fandom.

And because we go in circles YES there are BAD elriels, there are really annoying, hateful ppl in all corners of the fandom and I will never condone that behavior. But I feel that conversation entirely detracts from what KATIE and her closest friends (and I guess fans) did. What was enabled. Are you saying the shoe fits? If that’s not you why take the blame for it??

I’m not gonna let ppl speak over me and other artists who chose to stay quiet and “professional” to let her reign of terror continue (enabled and mirrored by admirers) because it just was not worth the drama and let me tell you a lot of artists blacklisted her or were scared of her. Because all you can do is console and warn each other in private. Scamming is very despicable but this is bigger than a scam especially when she tucked tail and ran.

Hi, artist here that didn’t feel “protected” or “respected” by the fandom when I posted art for her very first event! Artist here who had her art mocked and belittled because it was “Nesta’s sword” and KTBOOKISHCLUB AND HER FRIENDS were involved in that.

Because that’s how I knew to BLOCK HER (and her friends!) before she started posting commissions because she was giggling with everyone how stupid elriel art/artists are. I wasn’t her friend but I saw it with my own eyes countless times.

I think if you spend any time around her you’d know how she felt. She was bold enough to tell an elriel commissioner elriel art sucks and her ideas would be better and fresh. TO AN ELRIEL COMMISSIONER IN HER DMS when she played at making friends with everyone.

Like we had no idea? Like we hadn’t seen how she behaved for months on TikTok? Like people don’t talk to each other??? So when she got smacked with the evidence for Elain week (WHICH SHE TRIED TO SABOTAGE and then control her own) she said “I’m so disturbed you know so much about me!” Well! Digital footprint. 🫠

So saying that you don’t know you don’t know, you couldn’t have seen it, save it. She and 100+ gwynriels had a real laugh on Twitter when I posted my art, my mentions were a MESS. You don’t respect artists unless they fit your agenda and I can say that’s a fandom wide problem.

But back to my art that got dragged to HELL. Katie then took the SAME theory regardless of how it was “nestas sword” and went to an elriel artist (who she’s claimed was unprofessional btw!) to have the very same idea done just by a bigger artist and make it gwynriel this time!

And in the caption she felt it was sooo original even though weeks prior she and others had a great big laugh over my art. I DO NOT feel SAFE or RESPECTED or SUPPORTED in this fandom as it is and I think that goes for a LOT of artists that dare touch it.

Even before I started posting I saw for MONTHS how antis talk about and treat elriels and their art. I couldn’t look up elriel without seeing it. I’ve seen my own friends stuff be reposted and made fun of countless times, people who aren’t involved in drama at all. ((In fact, I think that’s what radicalized me! Because I’m otherwise very openminded and interested in multiship. ))

And this isn’t to say elriels don’t do it I know they do and i’ve confronted people about it. I hate art bashing and I don’t understand how anybody imagines motivating art posting with that sort of environment. It’s not possible.

I lost all motivation and I’ve even had someone tell me to kill myself LMAO so! I don’t want to hijack this drama because it’s NOT about me but I’m infuriated with this honorable air of “we would never! We had no idea! We love artists!”

You don’t unless they work towards your agenda. And I’m saying that to ALL. I’m so fed up with this hostile environment that doesn’t let artists create or befriend unless it’s within the pre established boundaries. I’ve really had enough.

And to clear some things up:

Katie wasn’t bullied for her gwydion gwynriel art. People just pointed out the hypocrisy.

Katie never asked unii if she could 1:1 copy her art. She just didn’t. That’s why the DMs were shared. You can find threads on this.

But Katie (and others) went on about how unprofessional she was. Even though Katie went AFTER she saw that her copying wasn’t as subtle as she thought. Stealing from a small artist is not “respecting artists”. And “exposure” isn’t an apology.

Be better, ask those around you to not be so vile and stop using the excuse “well they also-“ idc just stop. It’s not helping anyone, most especially artists that are trying their best to get out there and make friends.

And in addition, because I’m seeing “you can’t take it on people by proxy”- that would be true if I didn’t see the behaviors above mirrored or enabled by those closest to her. Those who admired and defended her. She caused such a bad reaction in me personally that I was very wary of anyone that spoke to her (unfortunately) even if they were my own mutual because I knew what she would say in private to people. So I really cannot with this “I didn’t know, we don’t condone that”.

She was a liar. She lied about so many things. I wouldn’t even know where to begin with an outline because it’s just so much. And I don’t think it is difficult to catch a lie even if you give someone the benefit of the doubt. It is not difficult to check sources, cross reference.

I ended up being so anxious I would uninstall apps, stop posting, not interact and outright block entire groups of people innocent or not to just be able to breathe. I’ve entirely stashed wips I was really excited about because of that ONE incident. ONE person does hold a lot of power and effect and I’m sure it would stroke her ego to know how badly she affects others.
