I know the point was to make me feel like shit and stop creating art because whatever it was on my page that triggered them to come by (wasn’t a high performing post so it didn’t go anywhere) meant go as low as possible especially with a paper bag on their head. But you don’t know people’s mental states, you don’t know how they’ll react and if they’ll snap seeing that bizarre behavior. I’m not telling you to be better because I doubt you have that in you but remember these are actual people you’re speaking to and your message could very well be what sends them off the cliff. Wanna talk about we care about artists but you take time out of your day to harass them. “It’s just constructive criticism” except nothing about it was constructive and you came with bad intentions based on how you reacted. Nor would I respect your opinion if you’re on a burner.

Last solstice ended in heartbreak for Elain and Azriel, forces beyond their control kept them apart once they decided to act on the feelings growing between them. But Elain can picture their next one together, happily celebrating with their friends and family without keeping to the shadows.

Thank you so much @aurithemoon for bringing this beautiful piece to life. We couldn’t decide on which idea to go with, so when we decided to try merging the 4 ideas into one comic strip, you took it and made it better then we imagined 💕 We absolutely love how you draw Elain and Azriel, and look forward to working with you again 🥹🫶🏼

The best kind of fairytales come from the magic we make in our day to day lives, finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.

And I think it would be more of a fairytale come true to Azriel that someone loved him so much they chose him over a mating bond, that someone loved him for simply who he is and not out of an obligation to fate.

For this piece, I imagined an afternoon spent in the garden, enjoying each other’s company when Elain comes upon a kaleidoscope of butterflies. They flutter around Elain as Az looks on in wonder at this beautiful life he shares with her, and discreetly sends out his shadows to give Elain wings of her own. 🦋

I was so lucky to have the @thesleepingfoxy bring this to life for me! She captured the wonder and magic and playfulness so brilliantly in this piece it left me breathless! Mary, you are an absolute angel for this🌸

Elriel Month | Peace and Quiet

There is such tenderness, intimacy, and safety when you can understand the person you love without words. For this prompt we imagined the relief that Azriel and Elain would feel as they fall into bed together at the end of the day after enjoying the extroverted company of the inner circle, so they can cling to each other for peace and quiet just like our High Lady foretold.

We were all so excited to get the opportunity to work with @kotikomori on this piece and she truly gave us a little peek into a slice of Elriel heaven!! We are so grateful @kotikomori! 💕💕
