This is an Alt account I made to post about my spider sona because I want it all in one place and don't want to muck up my other blog. This is the other blog I use mostly and post a lot of fanart to - frothing-at-the-mouth

Basic info about Circus spider

He was a normal acrobat and gymast preforming in a traveling circus. He got bit by a radioactive jumping spider and then... .... Nothing changes!... Well not nothing, preforming got a whole lot easier and he could do a lot of neat tricks, but his everyday life didn't change, not then anyway. He continued to preform in the circus up until the circus foreclosed and he didn't know what to do suddenly without the structure it gave him. Without a direction to go in or knowing really what to do he decided to give the heroism gig a go. He is known as Circus Spider.... And he thinks that is a ridiculously uncreative name they started calling him, it's ridiculous, one guy recognizes his costume from his circus days and the media hears it and suddenly the stick together the most obvious and uncreative words and won't change it. Believe him, he's really tried to get them to call him something else, anything else. Spider man would have been much better, but Nooo they have to keep the place he worked at before in the name too for some reason. Can you believe these people? Circus Spider has most of the standard spiderman powers, but also has the ability to jump and spring up to 5 stories high!   Lizard in Circus Spider's universe had his accident a long time before Circus Spider was in the Circus in the first place, and he was sold into the circus as a beast and had a shock collar placed on him to attempt to keep him stressed so he wouldn't change back to his original state. The Circus wasn't aware he had a different form and was told the collar was to keep him docile and in check. Years go by and then Spider joins the circus and over time becomes kind of friendly with Lizard even though other circus folk told them to stay away and that it was dangerous and shit. Over time through a combo between slowly becoming immune to the level of shocks and routine as well as positive friendship with Spider, Lizard gets his stress levels low enough to change back into his person form and in that form the collar's way too big and just falls off, and Spider lets him out of the cage because holy hell what just happened??? And Spider doesn't receive answers as to what just happened because Lizard hightails it out of there.

And years later when the circus closes and Lizard hears about spider's hero antics they pass by by chance and Lizard sees the kid is not really handling things well on their own and he takes them in.

Pigeons lack the strength to remove human hair that gets tangled on their feet so you gotta help them if you can : ( (ID: An illustration, a spiderman like character reaches for a pigeon, that pigeon and another flies in the foreground. Circus spider has approached you and asked if you would be willing to keep this pigeon safe for him and not tell on him for taking a pigeon across dimensions. In Circus Spider's universe all the animal themed Villains also have some tie to the circus he was a part of. So far I have just designed Rhino's. Called Al by fellow circus members or his stage name Rhino, was a strong man in the Circus with Circus Spider until it foreclosed. He had trouble finding and keeping work after that, eventually leading him to finding less clean work and eventually volunteering for some shady clinical testing that resulted in his powers of advanced strength, durability, and speed. These powers cam with drawbacks such as his already small temper decreasing, bouts of restlessness and insomnia and, difficulties slowing down or redirecting blows once he starts hitting or charging. He also is required to wear a specialized suit near constantly to maintain radioactive feedback to his body, without it he will start to fall apart due the the changes done to his body.

When he worked with Spider in the circus he already had thought he was too annoyingly high energy. When preforming together the narrative was often a small nimble spider annoying a large strong Rhino, and through this choreographed act they would go between showing Spider's gymnastic skills and Rhino's strength.

When they met each other again for the first time since the circus for closed Circus Spider was acting the role of a hero and surprised to find the person doing the crime was Al. Their fight was somewhat reminiscent of one of their choreographed performances, so Circus Spider wasn't certain they were really fighting in the beginning and that Rhino was serious. They actually got around talking with each other at what seemed like the end of their fight an Circus spider was hopeful that Rhino would be willing to changes his ways. This however became clearly no longer an option when they started discussing how they both gained their powers and Rhino learned not only had gained his powers without any apparent draw backs, but he also had had them since before the circus had shut down.

Rhino very much blames Circus Spider for not doing anything to stop the circus from shutting down as he thinks he could have used his powers to attract more people and boost sales. This however wouldn't have worked as the circus's closure was due to many poor financial decisions over the course of several years, neither of them know this however. The ribbons on Rhino's arms are for show and to draw attention to his motion, in the circus it was to exaggerate and entertain, however now it is a show of confidence in a way of saying, you may see me coming but I will come with such force and speed what possibly could you do about it? Heh here's another drawing of my Spider sona. They are called Circus Spider but didn't choose the name and hates it because they think it's dorky and uncreative. They were in a circus before they started being a hero preforming gymnastic stunts in various narratives that they had. The circus was heavily animal themed and the shows usually followed some sort of story. His stage name then was just Spider. He got bitten by a radioactive spider at some point near the end of his time there and then... Nothing immediately changed because his new advancements worked well with what he was already doing. Then the circus foreclosed and he decided to try to be a hero. And someone recognized his costume as being that one circus spider guy, and the media took the name Circus Spider and ran with it. *I made blog to talk about them so I don't spam this on lol Hey I would like to share my spider sona, he was bitten by a jumping spider so he mostly just jumps instead of webs places and can jump 5 stories high if he's really trying (ID: An illustration of an original character, they are vaguely Spiderman adjacent, the spider emblem is large and legs dangle off the edge with bells. Their design has warm greens browns oranges reds and yellows. They sit on the floor with one finger raised mildly confused.)
