My name’s Pix. I’m a trainer from the Cirosa Region…we’re not really a popular place to visit because of…reasons…but yall should. It’s really pretty.
My partner pokemon are Porygon2 and Tyranitar.

Important question: what makes a good starter pokemon? Online I keep coming across articles about common starters, the usual fire-water-grass trios, but not what makes a pokemon a good starter. I've got a kid in my emails, thankfully not connected to the parent trying to get Hydrangea, asking if I have any starters, or recommendations for starters that aren't typical. The only other common alternative I've seen is eevee and pikachu, but those aren't native to Unova
I mean
solosis is a good pokemon. Just make sure the kid doesn't try to lick the gel it's in and you'll be fine.

Anyways yeah. In terms of ranking (at least in my personal opinion) I'd say in terms of the main strongest trainers it'd be

Enigma Berry- A time the muse made something good out of a bad situation
OH DO I HAVE A STORY TO TELL FOR THIS ONE!
SO! I was in a pretty big funk for a WHILE before meeting Wilbur and his pals...and taking on the pseudonym of Pix. Barely any trainers who'd make it to my Gym actually posed a real challenge. It was mostly people who thought that all there was to battling was either their bonds with their team, or strength. NOPE. Power of friendship can only get you so far...and they would lose. It got...disheartening. I'd never really get to go all out. It was starting to affect my bond with my team too, and it got to a point where it got harder to sustain mega evolution with my Tyranitar for very long.
Anyways, after having a practice battle against Ama(or, Professor Hawthorn as she is professionally referred to outside of league duties) and her steel types, she mentions three people around my age who have been taking the Cirosa League by storm, and mentions that they may be worth keeping an eye on.
All in all, I ended up with some close friends because of some lame stuff.
I hate my job. Why are some of my coworkers inviting me to go "challenge the police"?? I'm not going to bait the police by doing illegal things in a Team Galactic uniform right where they can see??
I'm letting them have their fun getting themselves shot. I'll enjoy what's left of my quiet life
