Copper rot (Xylaria electrophaga) is a newly described fungus that, through yet unknown means, appears to obtain energy directly from electricity.

The adaptation, believed to have recently evolved from a wood-boring mushroom that fed on utility poles, lets this species enter cables through exposed metal, then grow outwards. This not only damages infrastructure, but often ends in a fire, which it uses to disperse its spores further. If encountering copper rot, it is not advised to touch it, as its white tips can conduct enough energy to cause electrocutions.

Hi all,

I have decided that I will no longer be working on Pressure as have many others. I've read the recent document that has released last night and it is absolutely abhorrent knowing Zeal's action's against Ren and Zeal's treatment of other members of the team.

Pressure was a project that I had put many, many of hours of passion and love into among many others, rising from a contributor to one of the two lead environment artists for the game. I feel that my trust has been severely betrayed and am sick to my stomach that i had put my trust in someone capable of such awful actions. I can not and will not stand by Zeal's behaviour.

I loved this community deeply and I hope everyone impacted by this situation will be able to take care of themselves and recover including Ren. Please put out your support and love to Ren, she did not deserve any of what has happened to her.
