Dear Diary,
What a lovely little village. I had no idea that the night life here would be so interesting. I met quite a few lovely people, and the dancing.. Let me tell you, my feet are going to be sore in the morning. Shame I only have a week here. I received word that my new home is almost complete. I do hope some of these gentlemen wont mind coming to visit me in the future.
I would hate to seek employment elsewhere..

Goodness that was a long drive! I am so chuffed to be here already! The villa Savinity and I are renting is absolutely darling. As is the outfit I got for our trip! We are hoping to get some exploration of the local culture done today, but first, we are going to have lunch and a few drinks to loosen up from the hours spent in the car!

Dear Diary. As you are new, I will introduce my best friend to you. I met Savinity when I was in primary school, and she has been my closest friend ever since. Of course we are like sisters, and very close, and though we may not appear to have much in common at first glance, one afternoon with us and you would see that we are two peas in a pod. Who else would I travel with but my oldest friend? I do hope she enjoys our vacation. While I am away, I left a down payment and instructions on my new home. Who knew Diego was that wealthy? It might be better for me to lay low for awhile as well.

Today was very strange.. Not in a bad way. First off, for some reason Detective High-and-Mighty came down to tell me that my potential fiancee had, for some reason, offed himself. It cast enough doubt that I and literally just the unluckiest widow that they had to release me. Also something about no evidence. Its a shame I didnt get to marry him, I would have liked another wedding.. But on the lighter side of things, they found a will he apparently wrote the day he met me, leaving me everything. So that was thoughtful of him. First things first, I cleared out the apartment. Too many bad memories there.
I also had a visit from a special someone to let me know that he would be keeping an eye on me.. Its such a load off to know I have a guardian angel.
I think, with the extra income I have at the moment, I’m going to give my best friend a call and see if she’d like to come away with me awhile. Ive heard foreign men are to die for.

Dear Diary.
First off. You would think with all the money these people get from the government, and all the charities and donations, that this place would be spotless. It. Is. Not.
Second, how rude is it to go to someones new home and tell them they have to come with you, during dinner.
Thirdly, they have NO proof of any wrongdoing. Do you know why? Because they have no proof of foul play. Tetrodotoxin is deadly. Its not my fault if people in this city like to hork it down like animals.
And my last husband, he was drunk and being foolish on a roof. I absolutely refuse to sit here and take this. The detective said that Diego was lucky we arent married, or they would be arresting me at a funeral. The audacity. I think he was going to propose to me tonight, so this is such a waste..

Oooh goodness was that nice Vendor man right. I knew Diego the second I saw him. I regret clapping eyes on him a little bit, he’s a goofy little man.. But, that's neither here nor there. I introduced myself of course, after mentioning that I was such a fan of the neighborhood but that I was not too sure about the apartments.. He invited me up to see his, and I am a bit taken aback. Its so spacious!
I cant say that I am a fan of the style . . . Those large, unyielding windows are not my style at all, but.. I'm sure to afford such a place takes a good income. We’ll see.

I thought I would treat myself today and get a little goodie, and maybe meet some people in the nicer part of town.. I got to conversing with the vendor and he was telling me about how.. ‘different’ the people around here are. He told me to keep an eye out for someone named Diego.. I asked him how I would know him and he only said ‘Oh you’ll know’ ... I am not sure what that implies.. I suppose I will keep a lookout.

When a situation feels right, anything can be music. The beating of your heart, the breeze through the trees, the cries of birds and the sounds of your breath. You dont need an instrument to have music to dance to.
Today was the funeral for my late husband, and afterwards, I hung around because the peace and quiet is so relaxing.. It was near dark when I saw the candles glow, and as I got closer I saw him. He asked me to dance with him, because he saw me dancing at my wedding and told me I had looked upset. But he knows I love to dance, so he wanted to make me smile.
I cant stop smiling. It was such a beautiful night.

Its such a beautiful view up here. Well worth the cost for a few nights. Nights I’d rather spend alone . . . However, if I have to, I suppose my husband can be here.. Last night I found out he wouldnt eat meat, and I faked a headache to go to bed early, promising him an exciting night tonight. And boy was it exciting! We had some drinks.. or rather, he did. A lot of drinks.. and I asked him how much he loved me, if he would shout it from the roof tops. Bless his heart.. he did.
..And then HE showed up.

You THINK you know a person! MY HUSBAND. My darling, stupid husband picked tonight, OUR WEDDING NIGHT, to inform me that he is a VEGETARIAN! After I spent nearly an HOUR preparing such a special meal for him. So ungrateful!! We are in this beautiful suite, and he has the audacity to tell me he wont eat fish.
..Now what am I supposed to do..

Today, I finally got a wedding. It was . . . Not what I expected. The church was small, and everything had to be done on the cheap because my new husband is a penny pincher. I didn’t know that before the planning phase . . . I insisted on a spa honeymoon though, so at least there is that . . .
I couldn’t stop thinking of someone else all day though. I wonder how he is doing . . .

Why do men think they’re so funny. Having to force out a laugh that's convincing isn't near as hard as you think, more so when they already think they’re hilarious. If I hear another joke about fruit I’m going to jam the stem of my wine glass into my eye.
But.. a girl has to do what a girl has to do. Besides, he took me to The Royal, and thats a hefty price tag.

It’s so nice waking up in the quiet, peacefulness of my own place. Being able to just do whatever i’d like in the mornings. In the afternoons. In the evenings.
I’ll soak up this feeling for today because tonight i’ve got work to do. That nice man I met at the cemetery wants to take me out to dinner, and who am I to decline?
It had better be a nice place.

Cemeteries can be such nice places to sit for peace and quiet. Also if you look JUST sad enough, you can meet new people.
It’s kind of fun and strange how sometimes after the loss of someone you happen to be married to, even strangers will stop to offer kind words. I do love kind words. I hope they see just how much I am struggling with this loss.
Although, bills are due soon and after redoing the apartment, there isn’t much left in the bank.. Maybe I should head out and meet some new people.

It was such an adventurous day! As my new husband is a chef, I thought I would show him my own skills in the kitchen. Of course, I had to make sure Mama approved. I don't think she did but, I didn’t hear any complaining.
Not liking that she didn’t appreciate my efforts, I took my home made meal home to my darling husband. He was speechless.
I did, however, meet a very thoughtful man that helped me clean up after dinner.
