🌊 Where We Always Meet
No matter how differently their days began, somehow Lyra and Selene always found their way back to one another.
That afternoon, it was the shore.
What started as two little castles quickly became something much grander—or at least, the twins thought so. With sandy hands and very serious plans, they built until there was nothing left to add, proudly celebrating their creation as though they had raised an entire kingdom from the sea.
And when the castle was finished, the ocean called.
Side by side, they wandered into the warm water, laughing beneath the island sun.
Lyra loved the earth beneath her feet—the gardens, the flowers, the quiet places where things grew.
Selene had always seemed to look a little farther toward the sea.
Neither of them knew yet just how far their paths would someday carry them.
For now, they were simply sisters.
And Aiaia belonged to them both. 🌿🌊🤍
Pack Legacy Challenge - Second Trimester
Gen 1: Outdoor Retreat
Hazel and Tylor were excited to get together with their closest friends and finally share the big news: they’re expecting twin girls!
With the babies on the way, Hazel has been working overtime at the fishing school, knowing she plans to take a step back once the twins arrive. In between preparing for two babies and thinking about everything that’s about to change, Hazel and Tylor are making sure to slow down and enjoy these last few moments of life as just the two of them.
Their little family is about to get a whole lot bigger.
✨🌿 When the Earth Answered
Lyra had spent countless hours with her hands buried in the soil of Aiaia.
She knew how to plant a seed, how much water each flower needed, and which herbs preferred the warmth of the sun or the quiet coolness of night.
But this was different.
As Lyra knelt among the plants, a strange glow began to gather around her—soft at first, then brighter, curling through the garden like tiny threads of living light.
For once, Lyra stopped working.
She simply watched.
Circe’s magic had always been something Lyra knew existed. It filled their home, shimmered around her mother’s cauldron, and lived within the enchanted things scattered across their island.
But Lyra had never needed magic to love the garden.
Perhaps that was why this felt different.
She hadn’t cast a spell.
She hadn’t spoken an incantation.
She had simply cared for something living.
And somehow, the earth seemed to answer.
Lyra didn’t understand what it meant yet.
Maybe she didn’t need to.
For now, she smiled, returned her hands to the soil, and continued tending the garden as though nothing extraordinary had happened.
But Aiaia had noticed her.
And perhaps, in its own quiet way, it had begun to recognize her too. 🌿✨
🌊 What the Tide Leaves Behind
Lyra’s adventures often carried her beyond the gardens and down toward the shores of Aiaia.
She loved the sea—the endless horizon, the sound of the waves, and the treasures the tide scattered across the sand.
But not everything the water left behind belonged there.
So when Lyra discovered rubbish tangled along the shore, she didn’t simply walk past it.
She stopped.
With her white horse patiently waiting nearby, Lyra began gathering what didn’t belong, determined to leave the beach a little better than she had found it.
Circe had taught her daughters that Aiaia was more than their home.
It was something entrusted to them.
The gardens needed tending. The animals needed kindness. And even the wildest corners of the island deserved care.
Lyra was beginning to understand that loving the earth wasn’t only about admiring its beauty.
Sometimes love meant noticing when something was wrong—
and choosing to care enough to make it right. 🌊🌿🐴✨
🐴🌧️ Beyond the Garden
The garden may have been Lyra’s favorite place on Aiaia, but it was never the only one she wished to know.
Whenever Circe allowed it, Lyra climbed onto the back of the white horse and followed the island paths wherever they seemed to lead.
The rain never stopped her.
If anything, she loved Aiaia most like this—the sound of hooves against the wet earth, the sea somewhere beyond the cliffs, and the familiar cottage slowly disappearing behind her.
There was no destination.
No great adventure waiting at the end.
Lyra simply wanted to see.
To know what grew beyond Circe’s garden. To discover where each path ended. To find the little corners of her home that she had not yet explored.
And every time she rode a little farther, Aiaia seemed to grow a little larger.
Circe had given her daughters a world filled with safety, magic, and love.
Lyra adored that world.
But somewhere inside her was a restless little curiosity that even an enchanted island could not entirely contain.
So she held tightly to the reins and followed the path ahead.
For now, it would always lead her home.
One day, it might lead her somewhere else. 🌿🐴🌧️✨
✨🌿 Where the Garden Glows
Not everything that grew in Circe’s garden was ordinary.
Some plants bloomed beneath the sun. Others seemed to wait patiently for evening, when the light faded over Aiaia and tiny sparks of magic began to glow between their leaves.
Lyra loved those hours most.
She would linger outside long after the day’s work was finished, watching the garden transform around her. What had been familiar beneath the sunlight became something entirely different beneath the stars.
Circe had taught her that magic did not always require a wand.
Sometimes it grew quietly beneath the soil.
It lived in roots and leaves, in seeds waiting patiently for their season, and in flowers that seemed to hold pieces of starlight within their petals.
Lyra didn’t understand all of it yet.
She only knew that when the garden began to glow, she never wanted to leave.
Perhaps that was the first kind of magic Lyra truly understood.
Not the magic of spells or ancient books—
but the magic of something living, growing, and blooming beneath her hands. 🌿✨🌙
🌧️🌿 Rain or Shine
The rain had never been enough to keep Lyra away from the garden.
While most children might have hurried inside at the first drops, Lyra simply continued working—kneeling beside the flowers with damp hair, muddy hands, and absolutely no concern for the storm gathering around her.
There were seedlings that needed tending.
So Lyra tended them.
Circe sometimes watched from the cottage, amused by her daughter’s determination. She had taught Lyra how to care for the plants of Aiaia, but she had never needed to teach her to love them.
That part seemed to come naturally.
Lyra was beginning to understand that growing things required patience. Some seeds sprouted quickly, while others remained hidden beneath the soil for what felt like forever.
Still, she returned.
Day after day.
Rain or shine.
Perhaps that was what Circe admired most about her.
Lyra didn’t simply enjoy the beautiful things that grew from the earth.
She was willing to get her hands dirty helping them grow. 🌿🌧️✨
