All you non-tagalong people* are getting new cookies this year!!  They look pretty yummy, though I don’t know what nutrifusion is.

*For new followers, there are two Girl Scout cookie bakers and they make different cookies.  One baker (the yummier one) makes tagalongs, the other one makes peanut butter patties.  You will probably be hearing about this again in the future.

So over the weekend I went to girl scout camp, which always turns out much more… interesting… than I expect. This time I came back with a homemade slenderman plushie.

I find it both adorable and creepy at the same time.

“On November 11, 1932, Girl Scouts baked & sold cookies for the first time in the windows of the Philadelphia Gas & Electric Co. here. This endeavor soon became a Philadelphia tradition. In 1936 the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. adopted the annual cookie sale as a national program.”

Pretty cool to see that Philadelphia was the “birthplace” of such a very popular program with the Girl Scouts. As you can see, the Philadelphia Gas & Electric Co. building is now a court of common pleas.
