becoming an adult I realised how much of the diet sexism/racism/homophobia I'd heard in my small town was straight up IGNORING the complexity of real human beings

my friend group is absolutely not polyamorous and don't see each other romantically.... but we do go for a weekly 'date' at a candlelit restaurant (gotta set our expectations high you know)

living in a city showed me not only is it okay to be an outspoken woman or gay person or outsider but the stereotypes are outdated and the seemingly 'normal' person you pass in the street can be 10x weirder and that's also awesome so we shouldn't judge
