Its my baby box!
I've been having a lot of issues with my health in the past year. Things are finally getting sorted out and becoming clear. Most if not all of my health issues revolve around my lady bits. I don't want kids. Finding out my kids will most likely have sickle cell anaemia just made me want them less. So of course I asked to get my baby maker taken out in hope's of dealing with some of my more severe issues. The doctor's response? " but what if you want kids some day? Get married meet a nice man and want his babies" Have I mentioned I don't want kids? His reply pissed me off of course and even after a lot of talking with the doctor and my family the end result was no I can't get my ovaries removed until after I have a child first. Everyone and I mean everyone's response was that I'd find a nice guy and he'd change my minds about kids. My problem with all this? Its my freakin vagina. Its making me sick. I don't want it and will never want kids. Who the hell decided someone else could tell me what to do with it? Ugh. I'm so over it.

How to draw feet
As promised, here’s the turnaround photoset for my “Welcome to Inlé” sculpture. I’ll post some detail shots in a bit.
This project actually started way back in 2006 or so when I decided I wanted to sculpt my interpretation of the Black Rabbit of Inlé from Richard Adams’ Watership Down. I was still pretty new to sculpting, but ended up making something I was really happy with and that marked a pretty big turning point for me, both in terms of style and subject. Last summer, a couple purchased the original piece (you can find photos of it posted here on my tumblr, quite a few pages back), and paid me to create a more detailed base for the piece, and gave me free rein, creatively speaking, to do so.
The project ended up taking me about nine months to complete, and the finished piece is definitely something that was a blast to work on, but also was a big challenge. I’m pleased with how it turned out, and though I miss it now that it’s in its new home, I’m glad to have it off my plate.
It definitely won’t be the last time I explore Inlé, or the Black Rabbit himself, through sculpture, though, you can count on that. :D
Super Sculpey original/firm blend and apoxie Clay over a wire, foil, wire mesh, and wood armature, painted with cel-vinyl, mounted on a poplar board. Roughly. 25”x11”x18”
I’ll write more about the piece when I post the detail shots, which will have to be some time tomorrow, cuz I’m too sleepy to type properly now.
I can’t stress enough the importance of stretching your hands, and forearms every morning and every evening, spend 5-10 minutes going through a stretching routine. These are very easy to do, takes little time to do them. It’s VERY common in all animation studios. Conditions can slowly develop, the most typical one is Repetitive Strain Injury, it’s a prevalent condition resulting from overusing the hands to perform a repetitive task, such as typing, clicking a mouse, writing, and of course drawing. In simple medical terms, repetitive strain injury (RSI) stems from prolonged repetitive, forceful, or awkward hand movements. The result is minor damage to muscles, tendons, and nerves of the neck, shoulder, forearm, and most commonly hand and wrist, which can cause pain, weakness, or numbness. If you’re feeling some pains, tingles, weakness, or numbness in the wrist/forearm; one of the best ways to heal quickly are ‘Contrasting Baths’. What crazy voodoo am I speaking of? A couple different physiotherapists and massage therapists had recommended this technique to me several years ago, and for anyone I knew that tried it, they all say the results are fast and effective. Commonly used by carpal tunnel suffers, it’s a method of treating muscle soreness, swelling and inflammation, it’s also known as Hot/Cold Immersion Therapy. You can use the double sink in your kitchen at home, if you don’t have one, then get your hands on two very large identical bowls, it needs to be big enough to submerge your entire forearms from wrist to elbow. Fill one up with ice cold water (with a couple dozen ice cubes floating in there). The other with very warm water, not tea-kettle boiling hot water, just hot tap water, or as warm as you can handle, no sense in burning yourself of course. Have a stop watch or clock ready, and submerge your arms for 30 seconds in the hot, then switch to doing 30 sec. in the cold, and repeat a few times back and forth, 30 sec. a piece. After only a few times you’ll notice the hot water getting cooler and the cold water getting warmer, so then the technique grows to be less effective, but by then, the job is done. The idea is that the extreme heat and cold contracts and expands your blood vessels, promoting greater blood flow to circulate and flush through your arms, and increased blood flow is what aids in healing faster! Enjoy!

PLEASE HELP ME REPORT THIS PERSON!! Sorry for the long post, but I need you guys to help me out. This person has been tracing/copying not only mine but several other artists’ artwork. They’ve been selling traced/copied art on their bigcartel and participated in various exhibitions for their own profit.
Their Instagram Tumblr Bigcartel Twitter Signal boosts are super appreciated, thank you!
As promised a (very) rough tutorial on the armor assembly. I’m kinda messing around with my method right now, trying things in different orders and seeing what’s most comfortable for me. Still, I hope this gives people a general idea. If you have any questions or if something is unclear, let me know.

Violence leads to violence
So just a rant but I feel like its important. Earlier a friend and I talked about the riots in Baltimore. She was very much for the riots and pretty much had a burn it all down mentally towards it. I on the other hand didn't get it. I expressed my opinion that riots didn't help. Why burn random peoples things? Why destroy peoples stuff? If you have a problem with the police then take it to the police not the innocent bystanders and their property. So she said pretty much that I didn't get it even comparing to how people cheered at the riots in hunger games and how white people riot after stupid sports games. The more we talked the more upset we got with each other. Her point was no black man or woman should have to be killed in such a way. That even if I am anti-riot I should understand what they are fighting for. My main point was no one no matter the color of their skin should have to die, peaceful protesting goes a lot further then riots. I dont feel like riots and looting are fighting for anyone but your own selfish desires. Stealing a tv or clothes and jewels doesn't support anyone but yourself.Your cause gets lost with rioting and looting no one remembers what your protesting for all they remember is the destruction you left behind. Martin luther king jr. is a lot more remembered then Malcom x and there's a reason for that. Destroying other peoples stuff and livelihood isn't teaching the cops a lesson. Its turning the media against you. I've seen more memes vidoes and just comments making fun of the whole situtation then ones reminding people what started it all. When you respond to violence with violence all you get is more violence and in this day and age you get jokes like ' this is why black people can't have nice thing's'. This does not empower us as a community it weakens us. Breaking shit and robbing people inforces those stereotypes that lead to shit like this. Let's all just find a way to live in a peaceful way. Fight in a way that doesn't harm so many innocent people. And on the other hand cops need to learn how to resolve things peacefully as well. No one should be afraid of the police. The police shouldn't strike fear in people the motto is to protect and serve not break my back or chock me to death. They need some different training if shit like this keeps on. Both sides need to look at themseleves and fix things. No more rioting its not helping. No more extreme force its completely wrong. But this is all just my opinion and views. Maybe it means I'm not ' black enough' or 'supporting the cause' but I won't stand behind fucking up random peoples lives I'll support movements with the least amount of blood and violence.
Hey guys, I’m launching a new webcomic called GREASER WARS! This comic follows the tales of two opposing teenage gangs in the 1950′s with an overall LGBTQ theme!
You can read the full story HERE on the official blog!
So far there is a whole mini chapter available, and I’ll begin regular updates on the 14th of April!
I would be super grateful if you gave it a read or shared this post! Thanks ❤
