Dear Evelyn,

It's different around here. I wish I could be back with you. Every day here is nother challenge. I gave up on making friends because one day they are here and next I see them dropping to their death. It’s hard baby, so damn hard to be ‘round that all the time.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I'm staying alive for you and I fight for you. When I get home, we’re getting hitched. You can count on that.

Tell me all about Hawaii. I imagine it is much better than here. The sunshine and the water must be nice to be around. I can imagine how beautiful you are all decked out. I miss that sight.
