Here is the final me *hairflip* Emptied out, head cut off, body exposed, thrown away like nothing. What a bad day to be a cat.

Uh oh...there goes my head! After finishing the dissection Catie, Amber, and Cadence got to mess around and ended up decapitating me 🙀🙀🙀🙀😿😿😿 not only did they remove my head, but they poked and prodded my eye, cut off my nose, and cut out my tounge! (jeez what'd i do to them) They found my tounge was sandpaperish, and full of papillae (which are my taste buds, except one set of them which is for grooming 😺💅💇)

They squad exposed the trachea, esophagus, amd many other parts of my throat as they made connections as to how the epiglottis, esophagus, and trachea worked in eating and breathing

Close up of the things which keep me alive ( well not anymore I guess 😹 ) The heart pumps blood to my whole body while my lungs allow me to take in oxygen and breathe! Go me!

Thoracic cavity time! whoop whoop! Here the squad used yet again a sagittal cut with some scapals and some scissors to cut up the ribcage as to expose the heart and lungs!

Lalalallaaaa heres my diaphragm! The diaphragm separates the thoracic cavity containing the heart and lungs, from the abdominal cavity and performs an important function in respiration! When the diaphragm contracts, the volume of the thoracic cavity increases and air is drawn into the lungs. How crazy!

Alright well apparently cats can't work phones because I cannot get these pictures to turn right side up 😿 But lets get my show on the road! Here my stomach is photographed! Using a sagittal cut, the crew cut open the stomach and exposed the inner parts. Inside they found worms, gunk, and parts of an animal Mrs. Jones believed was a mole! Crazy what cats like me eat! 😹😹 The worms in me were hard and a little bendy but grossed out the squad a lot! Blech!

Here you can see six of my organs sprawled out on white boards and labeled for the world to see! 🙀🌍🌏 These organs are found in the abdominal cavity. The liver has three lobes, and the gallbladder is a small green dot (as seen a top) that was extracted from my gallbladder! The kidneys look like little itty bitty brains, and the bladder they found in me was just an empty sack!

At this point, Amber, Catie, and Cadence removed my small intestines, unraveled them, and measured them accordingly. A whopping 51.5 inches was all tangled up inside me! 🙀🙀

After 15 muscles were tagged, they cut deeper. Opening the muscles with a saggital cut down the belly, my intestines were exposed! In the second photo, you can see my diaphragm, and in the third photo you can see one of the humans operating on me pulling the mesentery off my intestines.

Today the crew tagged 8 muscles, to make a total of 15! (in the last post i said 8 but i accidently posted the same picture twice, silly kitty 😹😹😹😹) also, one picture taken is very blurry, however, it says triceps lateral head! 💪💪 They again used the same method as before, slightly cutting underneath the muscle and lifting the muscles slightly with a prod

After we finished skinning the cat, we went through and tagged 8 muscles on the first day of tagging. Working hard and fast, we used probes underneath each muscle and pulled up slightly to show which one we were looking at 💪😺 then we made cards and labeled them, managing to make over half (8/15) of them today!

End of day two and the squad finally finished peeling, cutting, and poking me for the day! They finished peeling the skin off my dorsal side, and Amber managed to cut one of ny testies in half, (thanks a lot 😒👎😾🔪) and Catie tried to cut into my tail but ended up cutting around it because there was too much bone! Amber, Catie and Cadence were so proud of their successful skinning that they held it up and showed it off tp the camera! They even managed to embarass me further by holding me up and taking a #selfie 😹😻
