I went on a bit of an unannounced hiatus and I’m sorry about that!

Here’s what I’m planning for now: I’m going to move Dean to a new blog and bring over most if not all of the thread I have with him right now. The URL will be same (I’m far too attached to this one to give it up xD) and this blog will be an archive. Things just got a little too cluttered here over the years.

I’m going to message people I’m rping or talking to OOC individually once the move is complete. It might take a few days, maybe a couple of weeks, but I will be back, I can pretty much guarantee that.

Crap. Well, apparently, there was not enough wine in the world to make this go steadily. He had been hoping for a better reaction. but, beggers can’t be choosers. At least Dean hadn’t thrown him out yet.

“Possibly two kids.” Sam flushed and held up two fingers, “Might be twins. We’re not sure yet. Ultrasound’s tomorrow..

He took a slow, quaking breath. He watched him brother in concern about the situation. He really hated to make him upset. He just hoped Dean didn’t ask him to choose between him and Gabriel, because Sam might just pick Dean. And that might just kill Sam.

“Right, of course, ‘cause nothing can ever be freakin’ simple.” Dean ran a hand over his face, half-hoping that by the time the motion was done he’d find himself laying in his bed, the whole conversation having turned out to be a bizarre dream.

No such luck.

“Sam, how the hell are we supposed to raise a couple of kids? We’re hunters! And Gabriel’s... Gabriel! I wouldn’t trust him with one of those pretend egg kids we had in high school, much less with my freakin’ niece or nephew!” This was absolutely insane. He couldn’t understand how his brother had ever thought that hooking up with Gabriel was a good idea, but having a kid with him... He knew that odds were that this hadn’t been planned, but that didn’t make Dean any less freaked out.

“Considering I don’t know Latin yet, I think I’ll be fine. But yeah, you’re damn right you’re buying. You followed me home and broke into my house, don’t think I’m not gonna hold that over you, for a while.” Groceries put away, she grabbed her phone, purse, and keys, shrugged on a light jacket, and headed for the door. “Let’s go.”

“Yeah, no - that’s really helpful.” Dean shook his head, letting out a bit of a humorless chuckle. They were in this together, but clearly she wasn’t quite willing to trust him yet. He’d drop it for now, but he certainly wasn’t dropping it for good. Her vision was pretty much the only thing that they had to go on, so he needed to understand it the best he could.

Dean rolled his eyes when she said that she’d be holding this over his head for a while. “You know, people are dying over this.” He pointed out. “Wouldn’t hurt to get a ‘thank you’ every once in a while. I mean, yeah, I know I scared you, but I think that whole think back at the store makes up for that.”

As he spoke, he followed after her. “You’re the local, you lead the way.”

After a silent pause to let Dean’s heavy words sink in and fill the air around them, Samandriel reached out and laid a (what he hoped was) comforting hand onto his arm. ”I’m sorry…” He repeated, but nonetheless meant it. It was never easy losing someone that close to you.

“Later, if it’s okay with you, maybe you can show me a picture or something of him? It isn’t much, I know, but… At least I can keep an eye out for him? Trouble seems to follow me everywhere, so who knows? I might just bump into him”.

“It’s part of the life.” Dean shook his head slightly, not quite wanting to get into a heart-to-heart at the moment.  At the same time, though, he knew that pushing Alfie away wasn’t the best option. “He’s a tough bastard, I - I think there’s a chance he’s still out there, just... Doing his own thing.”

Dean offered Alfie a smile at his proposition. “Thanks. Can’t hurt, I guess. I’ve got a few pictures packed away.”

Okay, this was still going better than expected. At least Dean still wasn’t yelling. But Sam was thinking maybe a bit more wine would have been good. He’ll have to try that next time.

“well, I only saw him when you weren’t around… You were usually drunk, with Cas, or with some girl.” Sam replied softly, squirming in his seat. He dragged a hand through his hair and then rubbed the back of his neck. He really hoped this conversation was going better than it sounded.

“So let me get this straight: you’ve been seeing Gabriel, who’s supposed to be dead, for six months now. The same angel that killed me about a hundred times, the same angel who trapped us in that freaky TV-land - oh, and let’s not forget that he freakin’ hunted him back in the day. That Gabriel.” Dean shook his head, trying to understand what the hell was going through his little brother’s mind.

After a moment, he continued. “And now somehow - I don’t even know if I wanna know how - he’s pregnant. You’re gonna have a kid. With Gabriel.”
