is this a nitpick amongst other ao3 indulgers???

im getting back into ao3 after having like a 3 month reading slump ,, due to a mixture of school, stress, etc etc (not relevant) but all of the fics from my fandoms recently have been.. irritating to say the least

i HATE those "___ or: _" summaries. just.. pick one??? and if you have to dumb the summary down in case someone might not be interested or understand it, I dont think thats a sign of a good fic

"[insert very interesting summary with flowery language and a premise that pulls you in without spoiling too much]

or: [lame "what if?" statement / something short that almost spoils it for you]"

see how irritating that would be..??? im not 8 years old, ao3,,, i can handle long summaries just fine
