BIOGRAPHY
Clayton Jeong was born as the first boy in his family. He was raised with love, his parents were always working so he spent majority of his childhood with his grandparents. He was born and raised in LA until he was seven years old, that was the year his parents decided to relocate to Aurora Bay because new job opportunities and being able to spend more time with Clayton as he grew up. Clayton hated being the new kid but soon settle in and made himself comfortable with new friends. His high school life was fairly normal, he wasn't a bad kid and managed to keep his grades good enough to make his parents not get on his back about failing. He got himself into sports such as basketball, football and even volleyball. He enjoyed keeping himself busy because that meant he wouldn't be stuck inside thinking over things that he shouldn't waste his time thinking about. Once he graduated from high school, he got himself into a local college where he studied to become a nurse. His parents weren't exactly keen on him staying in Aurora Bay but respected his wishes. Now, living in Aurora Bay working at the hospital, you can find Clayton often getting drinks with friends or flashing a dimple smile at his patients during working hours.
when it came to hiding what was bubbling just underneath the surface, celia considered herself an expert by now. though, the embarrassment of being caught looking like such a disheveled mess was a bit too prevalent to hide. "nope, not seeing anything." she retorted with a smile, hoping she didn't come off too weak. having as many tubes of blood out as she had to have at her yearly appointments always left her with the pale look of a freshly made vampire.
as his eyes danced over her, a smattering of pink popped up over her cheeks. "yeah, just had to run in and do some yearly lab work." which wasn't a lie, just not the whole story. "thought I'd dress comfy casual but it kind of came out more 'your dad watching football'." her dark eyes studied him, attempting to be as nonchalant as possible. "how's work going?"
"Work's been eventful, I figured I should take a step outside to catch some fresh air, too much chemical smells in the hospital that it's good to take a step outside." Clayton said with a genuine smile. "Just waiting for my shift to end in another," He glanced at his apple watch to see the time and sighed, "Four hours."
Sure he enjoyed his career choice, but today of all days it felt as if it was dragging. He probably didn't look so put together with slight eye bags under his eyes and the lack of sleep taking over for him. "I'm guessing everything is going good with your health and all?" He asked hopeful.
"It's on Netflix. It's basically about a retired hitman that finds his way rope back into the lifestyle he left behind for love. It sounds like fluff, but it's actually really badass." The man chuckled lightly as he made himself comfortable on the couch. Both their job schedule made it difficult for the two to enjoy some down time together, but Kangmin always appreciated time like these when they could just relax and hangout. "Or if you prefer, I can kick your ass in CoD, whatever you prefer."
"Hmm...retired hitman or getting my ass beat over CoD, the choices are very difficult to make." He said sarcastically at his friend, "As much I would enjoy beating you at the game, I'm intrigued at this show now. Is it like John Wick? Does he have a purpose like John does for his furry little friend?"
Jason hadn't been given flowers before in his life time so having Clayton do so for him just made this much more special. He put the flowers in a vase nearby, making sure they looked nice before stepping away from them. "Nope, not at all. I mean it." He mused as he looked at Clayton. "I know but I'm not lying, promise." He assured as he was just ready to spend more time with the other male.
"Okay if you say so." He said with a gentle smile towards Jason. He couldn't help himself as he found himself reaching out to brush away some hair from the others face and chuckled. "I was thinking we could watch a movie on netflix or whatever platform, I'm not sure what movies are recently out but it seems like a good idea."
Clayton: SOS
Clayton: BECAUSE SOMEONE FORGOT TO REFILL THE TOLIET PAPER
Clayton: I am stuck on the toilet and need you to cut whatever you are doing short and come save me.
flimsy fairy wings — did your muse used to celebrate / dress up for halloween as a child? if yes, what's a costume they remember wearing (and did they pick out or did their parents)?
"I feel like every kid dressed up as something for halloween. I definitely did. I think my favorite was dressing up as the Scream character because my mask had that fake blood pump thing."
scratched cd — what genre of music does your muse hate? if someone happens to turn on that genre, will they tolerate it or leave the room?
"Country and anything Taylor Swift related." Clayton said with a shake of his head. "I usually tolerate it, somehow block it out of my head, but occasionally depends on my mood, I would either leave the room or suggest a different song."
"The stress keeps her young. She'd die of boredom without me around." The man said, chuckling lightly. He knew his mother was probably more than thrilled that he had done some maturing in the recent years compared to the menace that he was in his later teens to mid-twenties. "Fancy dinner it is then. Anything my ol' lady happy with me. Before someone that I won't name steals her away." he said in a playful tone.
Kangmin admired Clayton's dedication to the medical field. He knew how draining it could be and the fact that he was able to do it and still be so cool about life and people - it took a special person. "No wonder you love me, then." he joked. "If you make me sit through another one of your documentaries. I will hold it against you. I hope you know that. Put something we both can watch." he said is his best stern voice. He disappeared to the kitchen and returned moments later with some chopsticks and plate for the two.
"Fine, I guess I'll put something that isn't a documentary." Clayton rolled his eyes dramatically. He loved the true crime documentaries and sit there thinking 'damn they really never found the killer' as if he was expecting at the end they would announce the murder. He settled onto the couch and turned the tv on, scrolling through the apps to figure which one to choose from.
"Oh yeah? Which app is that on, what is it about?" He asked curiously as he glanced over at Kangmin.
Holland couldn't imagine wanting to leave Aurora Bay currently. She was enjoying her time here. She might travel later, but she really wanted to stay here for a bit and actually liked a lot of the town. "I've traveled to a lot of places in the US and no place has ever felt the same as here." She didn't like the idea of leaving right now—there was too much to figure out. But she could understand the appeal of getting away from a place you'd lived your entire life. "But that makes sense."
She nodded. "It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it. Lots of history, lots of art, and of course the shows are usually pretty cool. If you ever have a chance to go, I'd recommend it."
"Yeah, but it's funny since a lot of shows either portray Chicago as a bad town or at least in the show it does. But I did see that show about the medics in Chicago...forgot what the name was. It was a good show, a little unrealistic but I'm bias since I work in the medical field."
Shyne went ahead and started cleaning up the mess on the floor with some napkins from a near by table as he listened to the other speak. "I'm beyond grateful for that, let me just say." If it was hot, he'd feel ten times worse than he did currently. He wanted to be friendly, make friends and all that and that'd never happen if he was burning people with their own coffee. "I'll get you one now," he said as he stood with the dirty napkins. "I'll try to fit it in, being a journalist and all, it can be hard sometimes to find a moment to nap, especially when trying to make deadlines for stories." The English man sighed before asking, "What did you order by the way?"
"Ah a journalist huh? Now that's a stressful field, well at least I understand since I work as a nurse so it's never an easy day for me." Clayton said laughing lightly. "I got a caramel macchiato."
Figuring out what she wanted was a lot easier if she could visualise it. Holland had always been a visual person. She liked getting to see photos of people and places. Maybe her vision boards mostly just had travel plans, but she liked looking at other visual life plans. She wanted nothing more than to have a perfect plan, but nothing about her life had been perfect so far. She got that other people weren't the same as her. She liked the idea that she could plot out her whole life on a piece of paper that was more colorful than the world she grew up.
"A travelling nurse seems like it would be a bit stressful to me. Never working with the same people or the same place. Unless it's like more localised and you'd get to connect to your patients or work with certain groups of people." Holland had travelled as a job for a bit. Now she was a shop attendant and really was committed to the idea of making Aurora Bay her home. "Oh, I really liked Chicago. It has such an interesting history and a really cool art scene."
"Yeah but the pay is great, I might consider it if I ever want to leave Aurora Bay. I mean it's home but I just feel like there is better things outside of this place." Living here his whole life, he couldn't help but to feel as if he was wasting his younger years living in the same city and not adventuring out. But his family and friends were here, so it made it harder to come to that decision. Sure he could commute back and forth but for how long?
"Chicago? I heard a lot of great things about that place. I have never been besides seen in movies which usually is a gangster movie or some chick flick."
"Is this girly? Men make pottery as well, they also drink wine. I won't be drinking wine tonight so it can't be that girly, can it?" Eden rolled her eyes at her friend. "Just make one thing and if you hate it we can leave and do something you want to do."
"Fine, but if my bowl doesn't look like a bowl, you better not make fun of me. My feelings get hurt easily," He dramatically placed a hand over his chest. "Hmm...if you're not drinking wine, then perhaps they have other drink choices? I'm not much of a wine drinker myself, except sometimes. On very rare occasions."
"Oh were you now? I mean even if you didn't cook it, I'm all for a good meal with you. It is the thought that counts." Jason couldn't help the fond smile that spread across his lips as he followed after Clayton. Looking over the other, his face changed to surprise upon seeing the flowers held in front of him. "Aww, look how thoughtful you are. I appreciate this a ton." He gently took the flowers, smelling them instantly which only seemed to cause his heart to flutter more.
Clayton was beyond happy at the fact Jason approved of the flowers, he always thought it was super cheesy and never done it before but now he was happy to push through his pride and buy some flowers for Jason. "Really? You're not just saying that are you?" He said jokingly as he leaned back against the counter. "I won't withhold the food if you're lying."
coquillage (seashell): what’s your favorite sound?
"I would have to say the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, if I can't sleep, I just throw on a youtube sound of waves and I crash right out."
