For Real Love

They say love's just a word,

Thrown around too easy,

But this—

This was different.

God looked at the mess we made,

The hurt,

The hate,

The silence when we should’ve spoken—

And still said,

“I choose you.”

Not with lightning,

Not with threats,

But with a Son,

A cross,

And a love that bled real.

He didn’t send Him to judge,

He sent Him to save—

To stand in our place

So we’d never stand alone again.

And now?

Anyone—

No matter the past,

No matter the weight—

Can believe,

And live.

Really live.

That’s John 3:16.

That’s love that doesn’t quit.
