“Uh…I think I am lost”

The area was dark, and Kei just couldn’t seem to even find his own way around. He squinted his eyes at the distance but his eyes only continued to fail him. He then suddenly was approached by a guy who whispered; 

“Uh…I think I am lost”

Kei squinted his eyes further at the guy, trying to decipher his features but only for the darkness to engulf his sight even further. “Damn this night blindness of mine..” Kei whispered under his breath ,annoyed. “ I want to help ..but I can’t find my way either, man..am bad with such dark areas.”

Kei has been having a writing block for a while now. He had a task to write new rapping lyrics for an upcoming song of AXIS, but he just totally failed. Somehow ideas were not coming to him and he felt so frustrated as his short-temper has taken the best of him. “KUSO!” He shouted in Japanese as he ruffled his hair back. Suddenly, hearing that from the space he was sitting at in café, Luna peaked in and told Kei;“You look like you could use a hand.”He looked over at her with dishevelled hair and just nodded. “I am, in dire need of help. I’m at loss of ideas it is a disaster. If you’re good with lyrics or any of the such, I’d be glad. I just need an inspiration to keep me going.”

“I lost my phone…again.”

“Again? Seriously now? “ Kei laughs at what she’d said because that was like the 3rd time in the week. “So you’ll make me detective again to find it for you?” Alex probably is making him do the errand again of hunting for her lost phone. It’s often silent due to her not wanting it to be a disturbance at work. However, that just adds to the tough job for Kei. “Last time it was in your bag..Are you sure it isn’t there this time?“

“I’m only here because you forced me.”

He glances a look of sarcasm at her as he himself was disappointed by how this had turned out. The advertisement made everything so big out of this game convention and he thought that he’d definitely enjoy it with a fellow gamer. “Blame the over advertising for an almost deserted place..” Kei stared at the almost empty game convention which had crashed his hopes deep within, then back at Jade. “Stop hiding the fact that you were interested too and that this place had let your hopes down till the point that you’re just blaming it on me.”

“ I know I am such a bitch when it comes to your favorite stuff, I need a share bro.” A sneaky grin finds its way onto Kei’s lips as he munches on Casey’s favorite piece of leftover cake that he found waiting for him in the fridge. “This tastes best when it’s stolen! ” With a stuffed full face, he looked at Casey. “Stop looking at me like I’ve done some crime,man. I’ll freaking choke…” The young rapper slowly swayed the piece of cake till it wobbled infront of his close friend. “I call this wobbly yumminess.” He explained to Casey.

Kei looked over as his drinking session was interrupted by Jisung’s voice.At a casual bar which he usually frequents, the young rapper had spent long hours drinking alone when a guy entered and told him that.Kei didn’t find it weird at all, plus the guy did look familiar, “Wait..EPIX!” that was where he had seen him. Definitely. He raised an eyebrow and smirked at the older guy. As a change of his often spent alone routine, he was totally up for a little hang-out to let his mind off of some things. “Oh how’d you know? .. I wouldn’t mind a partner when it’s drinking in fact with this big portion, a help would be nice.” Kei grabbed a bottle of beer and threw it over to Jisung to catch. “But since you offered, you’d have to be willing to drink a bunch. Challenge accepted?"

“chocolate ramen?” she asks, disbelief tinging her voice. “why would anyone think that’s a good idea?” she attempts to imagine what that would taste like before shuddering in disgust. at some point, there should really be a limit to what people could do to food before it becomes a culinary crime. “i hope all the valentine lovebirds enjoy their… chocolate ramen. if they won’t, then who will?”

"Truly" He totally agrees with her. "I mean, I would rather enjoy any meal with a lover instead of this.." He blankly stares at the offer again. " Rest in Peace; to the stomachs of those lovebirds." Kei's averts to the side while sighing softly, feeling sorry to whomever is sacrificing their taste buds for this.

‘’well, that actually sounds pretty cool. and where exactly is that restaurant? maybe i’ll actually go there. i’m always willing to try new things.’’intrigued and slightly amused, she raised her eyebrows and laughed.’’i think they won’t be putting salt or actually anything on them. they’ll just cooks some ramen and add chocolate. it will be like sweet pasta. and honestly, i love dipping chips into nutella or molten chocolate. it’s truly delicious. ‘’

Surprised by her answer and intrigued expression ,Kei just stares at her. "It's around close by actually.. If you're really willing to try it, I can show you where it is." He scratches his nape unable to really relate to her excitement. "I am fine with chocolate, but the idea of it mixed with ramen is just a no way for me.. I'll pass and you can just tell me how you like it ,instead?"

Going out at this time just to tick the remaining checkbox off her to-do-list was probably not a good idea. Luna was out to meet a friend at the cafe, and planned to buy some missing ingredients afterwards. But she didn’t expect it would take that long that it was seven already. Luna considered to go tomorrow instead, but she is certain that it was safe around the place. It’s not the first time she went out on her own at past nine anyway, and she had never encountered any trouble while at it. But obviously, there are some times where you’re just unlucky. And for her, that time happened to be now. Two scary looking men was blocking her way, their build seemed like they weight two to three times her weight. Unfortunately, there were none else present near the street.

She had tried to turn back and take the longer way home–only to be stopped by a grip on her arm. “Fuck off,” her expression was still the usual calm deadpan, but her eyes looked to the ground, intimidated.

They babbled about her ‘showy’ clothes, which she strongly disagree as sexy was never her style, and she’s not even wearing something revealing. Luna chose to ignore the comments and bites the hand grasping her arm, before quickly kicked the man ahead of her by the balls, hard. “Get your eyes corrected.” She spat, though very terrified inside. She escaped, but one of the man was quick to catch up and pinned her to the wall. The next move she predicted was a blow to her face, but the man get it instead. Wait, what?

Kei was walking casually, trying his best to avoid the darkest areas at night since they are so troublesome to his eyesight. However, he suddenly heard a loud "Fuck off" jumbled in with a few harsh footsteps. It intrigued him, I mean since he himself was in a gang in his teens, he directly sensed something fishy. His instincts assured him to follow the noise just in case. There, to Kei's surprise a girl was in trouble. "Shit. Should I just.." he knew that he shouldn't get involved in a fight since he is an idol, but he wouldn't just leave the girl alone. He had to do something.

As one of the guys was going to land a punch onto her face, Kei took the chance to protect her by standing as a defense. He received the punch instead right onto his face. At his sight , the rascals were furious. It was expected from a bunch of delinquents. He ignored their attitudes and senseless rambles and told the girl to run. "Just go, NOW. ill follow after."

Ryder wasn’t hungry. Well, that was a lie. He was usually hungry. But he didn’t want to turn Kei down. Plus, he was a bit intrigued at the idea of chocolate Ramen. “Um, if it’s disgusting you have to eat my portion too.” He chuckled. “In America, I’m used to people making food that probabaly shouldn’t ever be made. I mean, deep fried Twinkies. Who came up that idea? That’s like a truck load of calories and besides, Twinkies are already gross. Why make it worse by deep frying it?”

Kei looked at the special and then looked back at Ryder. "Bro..this is totally not the right idea. I wouldn't want to even taste it to begin with." His stomach churns at the thought. "In Japan too, at times they love trying new combinations too. but, I never expected this! Deep fried Twinkies...? Damn." Kei shakes his head as he chuckles. "It's a no way am eating your portion, if I can't eat mine to begin with.." He keeps staring at the dish out of curiosity and looks back at Ryder. "Let's start at the same second, same time. I sincerely challenge you."

When I was almost giving up, I was given an advice by a sunbae of mine. I guess, I wouldn't forget that. It helped me a lot.

💚 What do you think of other groups and artists that are in the same company?

Well, I think that they're very talented. Whether it is within my group AXIS or outside of it, they're simply amazing. Each one of them possesses great talent in my eyes. I find that a challenge, which only makes me strive to become better.

😬 Do you regret becoming an idol?

No, not really. This is the place I wanted to be in, I expected it wouldn't all be perfect. Afterall, nothing is.
