âHonestly? I am so fucking tired right now that all I want to do is be done with this so I can curl up in my bed and sleep for three days,â Sebastian said with a small smile, rolling his eyes. âThough I could go for some noodles. That sounds pretty good too, itâs been so long since Iâve hadâŠfood. Like, real food and not those low-carb protein bars.â This music show had been insane and Sebastian was ready to be done with it, though he had known what heâd signed up for when he became an idol. It was almost 5 AM and PYLB still needed to record some other stages. Coffee was starting to taste less bitter after so many cups he had to drown over.Â
âI canât believe myself for feeling relatable with you but, honestly? I am so fucking tired too that I wished to be a rock in my next life. or now, whichever faster.â she responded between sips of her first coffee for the day. After waking up one and an hour ago and do her rituals--which consisted of drinking water, stretching, and stares into nothingness in melancholy--she chooses to see what is currently going on DYK, which turns to to be the the filming of PYLBâs. Sheâs unneeded there, but at least unkicked too. or more like, none really noticed nor cared if sheâs there or not. âAs much as I crave that, Iâm currently on a diet,â she cringed at the memory of the number shown by the scale three days ago, âBut actually, screw that. Letâs grab noodles, junk food, or whatever unhealthy after this.â
It was likely best he hadnât noticed the other as soon as heâd pushed himself through the door, he would have turned tail and bolted, if he had. Had been avoiding the situation like the plague, until circumstances would appear less stressful on a whole. As soon as those tired eyes of his had met the other, though, recognition was immediate, though his shock was well hidden through his mask. A common thing with the Leader, as most already knew. Instead, heâd settled through a soft smile, fingers gripping the strap of his bag. âTime to worry is when I take over completely and dance without acknowledging you entirely,â the response was easy, through a shrug of the shoulders.
With the confirmation of being able to stay, though, heâd settled his bag back down against the mirror, crouching before it to pull his multitude of water bottles from its contents. âThanks, I feel flattered. Youâre not doing anything specific here, right? We can just practice together, if youâre not. Run through a few choreographies together rather than arguing over music,â he spoke while occasionally turning to settle his eyes on hers, though it wasnât until the question was asked, he stiffened. Of course, it was clear both DYK groups were getting the short end of the stick as of late, there was only so much that could be ignored. Gyujin rose from his crouched position to walk closer to the girl. âI⊠I donât really know. It sucks, thatâs for sure. We did pretty bad in debut sales, which Iâm not very happy about. Everyoneâs looking for an excuse to hate on us. It.. sucks, thatâs all. How about you?â The male turned the question, eyebrows raised. âHowâs stuff?â
She scowled lightly as a response. But when she sensed that it's about to get into the mean ass way she always managed to sounds like, Luna didnât even think twice to revise her words. âItâs been years, I hope you know that my words meant no harm.â she paused to take a glance at Gyujin, which she failed to maintain longer. She will try to be more careful with her words, itâs concerning the topic anyway. âNot much, itâs the things youâd probably expected. I personally donât mind the postpone, but itâs not fair for the other members, to be frank. Theyâve worked so hard, yet... you know the CEOâs words.â
âWhat Iâm trying to say was, itâs never PYLB's fault. Itâs not your choice. Yet youâre getting the impact. It sucks, and Iâm... sorry,â just like the past minutes, she averted her eyes. It might not be her fault, but then again she didnât know whose to blame. If anyone, to be honest, itâs not either of them. She thought silence is always calming, but apparently not every single one is. Like this situation, where it made her felt an opposing feeling of anxiety rush instead. After she thought she couldnât finish her sentence, Luna started off with an unrelated topic. âUm. I just finished practicing, actually.â she lied, âIâll stuff my things and the roomâs all yours.âÂ
âIâm teasing you about your music video, darling. Though, I am in no way in a position to judge you if thereâs truth to the music video. The other member is quite pretty, so I couldnât blame you if there was actual feelings there, now can I?â she stated, noting the discomfort on the girl in front of her. Violet let out a small laugh. Considering the traction her other members had on the gossip columns during their debut year, having someone who didnât have an idea on who she was or at least what group she was in was surprising to her. Of course, she couldnât take herself too seriously. Not everyone were the biggest fans of her company, and understandably so. âStranger? Thatâs actually quite relaxing to have someone have no idea who I am,â she mused, holding out her had delicately to the ZODIAC member. âCall me Violet instead of stranger, though. A lot more appealing and Iâd likely respond to that better. And I think itâs better to not call you ZODIACâs lesbian, so what would you like me to refer to you as? Unless that is your preferred name, in which case, no judgement.â
âOh, I know. Itâs just my faceâs thing to look offended 24/7.â she brushed it off easily, yet pretending like she didnât hear the rest of Violetâs word. Itâs already confusing with the whole thing going around DYK, so this is probably not the right time to question her sexuality. Because in all honesty, she lowkey knows that the other women is right there. âOkay, Violet,â Luna took her hand and shook it in a casual manner, âWhilst the subject is highly teaseable, Iâd prefer Luna instead since the lesbian ZODIAC member is still straight. But Iâm not surprised if that changes someday, though.â the last part was blurted out of impulse, and sheâs already regretted it within the half second. one for telling a trivia and two for being unsure if the topic is controversial or not, so she hopes thereâs no hidden camera around. âAnd Itâs not that I don't know you. Iâve seen you somewhere. But weâre practically stranger, so.â she tried to explain although she sort of give up on giving up extra energy on that, so she leaves her words vaguely like she mostly does. Not that she has much left after the practice earlier this day, either. âAnyway, do you need anything?â
âYou said youâll be fine with me filming us and you never complained about whatever kind of flavor i order, so why are you not going to eat it, now?â Casey looked over to the person sitting opposite of him. The focus on their conversation a huge plate with pizza on the table. His phone fixed on a selfie-stick while filming the two human, while talking about food. âI donât get whatâs your problem now, itâs not like they poisoned it or something.â AXISâs giant member started to laugh loud like he always did. âThis is a mubang and you said youâre good with it.â A strong smell in the air coming right from the pizza on the table, lying there innocent and waiting from them to try it. âItâs not like I know what they did put on it. Since both of us agreed to let us surprise.â
âVery funny. I did complain all the way, you just didnât see my obvious wince.â she stared in distaste at the questionable food, narrowed her eyes once the smell of excessive spice reached her nostrils. Luna slowly shuns away from it, shifting her gaze to the person behind this bad idea. âYou may not see any problem, but are you sure you didnât smell any problem?â she said while gesturing to the innocent pizza. but at the comment upon her spice tolerance, her gaze changed into a defensive stare. âI was concerned with my digesting system, and our names might show up on the news headlines, but you brushed my ego! I really am good with spicy food, and youâll see. Bring it on.â
It wasnât unusual to see Gyujin scouting the company building in search of a free dance studio. Days spent dancing on his own were his favourite, away from expectations thrown on him when it came to group dance practices, and the need to help his fellow group members through tougher choreographies didnât help the fact. Though today, for one reason or another, based on the gentle appearance of dark bags underneath his eyes, he was too tired to wander around and spy on whether the studios were free of users or not.
Thus led him to such a predicament to which found him walking in on another person while they had occupied the room before he did. Hadnât even realised it until heâd settled inside and was all for settling his duffle bag down beside the mirrored wall. With widened eyes, heâd froze, comically. âOh! I didnât even realise someone was in here,â the strap of the bag was thrown haphazardly onto his shoulder yet again. âI can leave, if you want. Unless you donât mind me staying? I reckon the other studios are taken, too, and Iâd rather not run into some asshole raging at the fact they canât hit the steps, you know?â
She could always acted like sheâs okay, but thereâs no way the CEOâs word didnât get into her. she holds no grudge, not even any negative feelings, itâs more like a mix of self-doubt and disappointment. since he basically implied that ZODIAC is incompetent, and that the new boy group was better than them who had been planned far earlier. come to think about it, she hasnât seen the said devil nor any of PYLB members. but honestly, itâs a good thing that she didnât. Because she wouldnât know how to face them. Like, should she say sorry? Or should she just act like nothing happened?
Just then, the door opened. Revealing a man she recognized as one of the said boy group. ...what a coincidence. still not knowing what to do, Luna just stares silently at Gyujin and wait until he noticed her presence. âTook you quite a bit, huh?â she tried to sound casual, but that exactly turned the other way around with her tone and automatically glaring eyes. in reality, she could have sworn that sheâs not the slightest bit angry. âYeah, okayâ alright. got it, Iâm convinced. not specifically means that I want you here, but you can stay.â she joked. actually, she's not entirely sure on whether or not he will get her humor, but she certainly wishes he does. âHowâs stuff? ...you know what am I talking about.â
New in the idol industry Junhee tried to follow every single news but honestly, she wasnât interested in them at all. Once or twice she stumbled over something that caught her eyes on the internet platform, but only to find her lifesaver. How could he disappear? It wouldnât be possible now that she is an idol trainee. She somehow missed out if he was a trainee too or already had his debut. Whatever! Today wasnât a day to feel down, today was one, well basically the first day ever since she was a trainee that Junhee visit her younger brother by minutes. Now she was inside the DYK building the girl had some kind of shiver, rolling over her body. Her face hidden with her black hoodie she sneaked around to find the right practice room. Since Junha was about to debut with a stupid name like Scott, but sorry, Scott was a little yeah. That name caused her to laugh randomly the moment she spotted a girl coming down the floor. Junhee totally covered in oversize black hoody, she kind of looked like a drug seller as she walks closer the other girl with in awkward movements. âEx⊠sorryâŠâ that was the only thing that came over her lips. Junhee was extremely shy in front of people she saw for the first time. And to meet a female in DYK was like a big mysterious to her since there was this news about this company was treating their idol girls.
At this time in the morning, just like her routine, Luna was about to head to the practice room. but her mind was occupied with mixed thoughts pertaining ZODIAC, making her started to reconsider continuing her steps. maybe she shouldn't, thinking about the possibility of a crowd of journalists sent by the media to gather around DYKâs building, most likely waiting to fire curious questions to the people involved in the said hot topic. It wouldn't be a matter if she's not a member of ZODIAC, or if she knows how to answer their obvious questions without losing her position in the next day.
âOh, sorryââ she muttered, her ears catches a mumble she couldn't quite hear clearly. It came from a girl in black hoodie, looking suspicious that Luna could accuse her as a drug dealer or something. She tilted her head a bit to take a clearer view of her face, only to be surprised after realizing who it actually was. âWait, is this who I think it is?â Theyâve never met, but sheâs sure the other person is a relative to Junha, if not his twin.
Kei was walking casually, trying his best to avoid the darkest areas at night since they are so troublesome to his eyesight. However, he suddenly heard a loud âFuck offâ jumbled in with a few harsh footsteps. It intrigued him, I mean since he himself was in a gang in his teens, he directly sensed something fishy. His instincts assured him to follow the noise just in case. There, to Keiâs surprise a girl was in trouble. âShit. Should I just..â he knew that he shouldnât get involved in a fight since he is an idol, but he wouldnât just leave the girl alone. He had to do something.
As one of the guys was going to land a punch onto her face, Kei took the chance to protect her by standing as a defense. He received the punch instead right onto his face. At his sight , the rascals were furious. It was expected from a bunch of delinquents. He ignored their attitudes and senseless rambles and told the girl to run. âJust go, NOW. ill follow after.â
Luna was too dumbfounded to be relieved, didn't expecting a person to come in rescue seeing how the streets was soulless just now. The lacks of light prevents her from taking a clearer view of the person, but the voice certainly told her that it's a âheâ. The other clue she got from further squinting was that he has a quite distinct features, and a notably mad fighting skills. Wait, actually that made everything seemed even scarier to watch.
Her ears hadnât heard any pounding louder than this before, and that made this first experience felt two times terrifying. So terrifying that she can't move from where she was standing. In the mean time, she choose to grab her phone and dial the police station and wishing that's the best way she could help.
hello!! sorry for being inactive. partly because rl was so hectic (but now I can rp in peace since the major things are finished), but the bigger reason is tumblr being banned at my country. siiigh. but Iâve found a somewhat working web proxy now, thus here I am, off from hiatus!
time: middle february, when the news just come out. /Â space: unspecified.
She hadnât even recovered from her awful headache since the meteoriteâs birthday bash, and now she got a yet another reason to fuel the dizziness. Luna is done with this series of self-doubts since the announcement of her debut, so why did she have to feel it all over again?
Rumors spread like wildfire. Yet for Luna, unless it was something big that everyone rambles about, then it wonât reach her ears. Even if it did, chances are high that she didnât care.
This case, unfortunately, ticks both reasoning for her to notice and pay attention. She woke up with chatters and numerous âdid you heard?â, and the name it associated with, âSon Minkyungâ. At first, just like any other day, she didnât care and went with her ordinary activities (which consist of only individualistic business). But later that day when she finally laid her hands on her phone, she figured that it was the news of the head makeup artist confirmed to left DYK. The spice was her reasoning, spitting justice regarding the sexism behind PYLBâs debut which results in a negative view on the said group and its company. In all honesty, Luna had predicted this to happen. Because long before the mouth-to-mouth information was confirmed, quite a number of staffs including Minkyung did shown a great disagreement for the plan. One that she didnât anticipate was the mess it would create.
It was just days back when this becomes a hot topic among the staffs. And when her opinion was demanded, Luna responded with shrugging it off as if not so concerned. But her indifference didnât mean that she didnât care about her members or looking down at their hard work. Of course not. Itâs just the fact that they had promoted with their solos already assured her that she didnât hold it against PYLB nor DYK. At least ZODIAC will eventually debut, even though if it will be pushed back. At least she could put herself at ease after the six years of anxious uncertainties. they will debut, just postponed. For someone who had an embarrassingly long training period, just a little more wait wouldnât mean that much. She had waited longer. Her only wrong move was an unnecessary remark of âThey had always been treating us like shit anyway, so what's the surprise?â
Now that it already happened and left a negative impact, Luna can no longer be apathetic to this matter. Not with the possibility of her sentence fueling up the wrong ideas. Not with the #standwithzodiac hashtag that make it seems like a guilt-trip for her.
She couldnât predict how it would affect ZODIAC in the future, but certainly not anything negative (as of now). Unfortunately, she couldnât say the same for DYK entertainment and PYLB. The former would have a negative view for quite a while, and maybe a long lasting labeling too if the CEO didnât do anything against it. As for PYLB, she was sure it will affect their debut image badly, starting off with such article when it's not even their fault. She couldnât help but feel sorry for her labelmates, she didnât want this either. Luna, as a part of the victim here, felt the need to do something for this case. something, anything, because this commotion was the last thing that she would ask for. but far before the action, had she sorted her feelings? what did she even feel about this?
At first it was just confusion and unnatural nonchalance. But the deeper she got her thoughts into it, the more it developed into self-blame and self-doubt. she knew she sucks at dance, her skills was not anything exceptional for singing nor rapping, but was she really that bad? she had invested so much time for practicing, and it never stopped upon her debut plans. but is it not enough? Luna had this conversation far too much going in her head, keeping her from sleep just to lament over one thing: will she ever debut? It never ends as a simple thought, the image of her father lying sickly and her adoptive brother on the jail will always pop along. and will always end with burdening herself, questioning will she ever get to make a change of view for their pitiful condition? oh, she would never be if she was still this bad. DYK's decision to postpone the debut literally said that she is not good enough.
But DYK was wrong, this whole more-concerned-about-business thing that already went for god-knows-how-long had always been wrong, her members deserves more than this shitty treatments and her as a shitty member, but she didnât want any unwanted tension towards PYLB either. And of course, there didnât exist a thing she could do to stand for either of those.
For now, she decided to remain silent for the matter, and keep doing what she always did with increased intensity.
It wasnât often that she was in a DYK building. The companies tended to avoided each other due to both of the CEOâs egos, from what Violet could assume, but there were rare moments when marketing placed her in the realm of DYK. Possible MV appearances, CF talks for her and one of their idols, whatever it may be, Violet was here and bored out of her mind. Bored ouot of her mind, Violet found herself wandering throughout the building. If she needed, her manager could just call her. It wasnât like Royal Crown was good at keeping their eye on Beach Babes. Her wandering wouldnât be considered anything abnormal.
Her eyes fell onto another girl occupying the hall. Desperate for some sort of entertainment, she made her way over, deciding a small conversation can make the time go a bit faster. Without much thought to her words, Violet blurted at the younger girl, âYouâre you the lesbian stalker? The one in ZODIAC?â
Luna raised an eyebrow. She could memorize the faces and names of every person under the label of DYK throughout her six years spent there, yet she didnât seem to recognize the girl in front of her as one of them. Blame Lunaâs memory and her maximal out-dated-ness for not knowing the personâs name, but she could recall that sheâs a member of a group that were all over the TV around may last year. âWhy, hello stranger. Yes at the latter, however...â her point finger was about to be raised in defense, but she cancelled the initial intention upon the insufficiency of alibi. âWell, technically yes at the former too but okay.â She would like to say âit was the scriptâ or something else inducing eye-roll, but her acting came a bit too natural for those excuses. Itâs not her fault that her members were all too gorgeous to not having a slight crush on.
â-Thatâs stupid, I didnât force youâŠexactly. I just didnât give you any other option.â she smiled to the girl and handed her a condom box.â-I heard about how much fun DYK artists like to have among themselves. Letâs remind them to have fun but protected!â A big smile appeared on her lips when she linked her arms with Lunaâs. âAnd you know what will happen if you donât help me, right? That photo of you in Inkigayo will be leaked to The Oracle and I just canât wait to what Artemis have to say about your chicken look.â
âExactly,â she repeated, shooting a playful glare. âAnd youâre probably right about that, but super wrong to include me into the stereotype. I didnât plan to lose my âpureâ title any moments soon, so this wonât be needed. Thank you for the concern though,â Luna shoved the condom box back to Jade, and rolled her eyes to the farthest it could get into upon hearing Jadeâs comment. âAlso thank you for the compliment.â she didnât care about whatever The Oracle might shit talk her, as long as it didnât involve the other members. Speaking about the root of the problem anyway, she didnât have anything to do besides her boring routine of practicing, so a change once a while may sound nice. âWait, you didnât hand this to Junha right? Heâs still a baby, I hope you donât stain him.â
âi didnât mean it like that!â she protests, frowning at the thought that she may have offended the younger girl. mari had been throwing drinks back like she had no fear of waking up with a hangover the next morning and the alcohol was making her a little more loose-lipped than normal, more willing to overshare and speak what was on her mind. âim just saying that if you did decide to fight someone for the chance to use the karaoke machine, you would win! itâs not a bad thing, i swear.â mari tries to explain, her voice louder than normal partially because of the alcohol and partially because of whoever was shouting into the karaoke machine. she winces as the person attempts to hit a high note, their voice screechy and shrill. âyou would definitely save us from that at least,â nodding towards the offending singer, if mari would even be so generous to consider them that.
Luna nodded once while rolling her eyes at Mariâs explanation, grasping exactly what she means. Itâs just that she made it sounded a bit wrong, and Luna did sounded too defensive over the small thing. What was it again? Fighting for the karaoke machine? âStill, do I look like the type of person who will sacrifice herself for other peopleâs life? I donât think so,â she folded her arms. Apparently, the small thing was no longer can be categorized as which. The person who won the fight (that didnât took much actually) had stung her ears with what they called singing, and that was like the fifth time for the past twenty minutes. Despite how annoyed she is, Luna is still being stubborn to not breaking a sweat for that ruckus. Not yet.
âDo you want me to go grab you some water?â she suggests. Perhaps Luna did drink a bit too much. You always did want to be careful of how much you drank and when with around others. âLetâs go find you a place to sit down too, okay? Itâll be better than standing up.â Yeona could go grab water for the female, knowing itâll help her sober up and probably wonât suffer as much if she didnât drink the water. She knows sheâll probably had to watch over Luna since now the younger was drunk and who knows what can happen now.
Thank goodness Luna was with a dependable person like Yeona. But her problem was not just her becoming tipsy, probably it was worse than what the older woman thought. âActually, forget the water,â she held her hand up to cover her mouth, âWhereâs the toilet?â she shook her head before pinching her temples in both dizziness and disgust. She should have known she never had much tolerance for alcoholic drinks. If she didnât recall wrong, she ever been drunk on a freaking nyquil. âUgh, this is gross. Sorry, eonni.â
Jisung fixed his gaze onto the girl, having previously been staring in wonderment at the dance floor. He vaguely knew she struggled with dance, but one could never get better while standing on the sidelines, watching in. Once more making a move of encouragement towards said dance floor, he found himself bouncing around, âCome on! Youâre not going to get any better like this. Just one song. One song, and Iâll let you be free of me for tonight.â Heâd attempted to bargain. It seemed fair in his own eyes, didnât allow for disagreement nor argument, and heâd worn his brightest smile as if itâd help sweeten the deal.
Luna was not exactly an oblivious person, but she was not that much of an observer to be able to read what Jisung might plotting. Mock her? Thatâs a possibility. But why would he, if he can mock her just everytime she asked him for a dance lesson? It didnât cross Lunaâs mind that the man might simply pity her and being kind enough to drag her out of boredom. âFor your info, your smile did nothing to me.â her expression remained stoic, but she knew she wasnât being honest there. Jisung had always been charming, and the effect didnât exclude her. Thank goodness, his personality didnât charm her enough so pretending wouldnât be that hard. But still, Luna wasnât exactly in her right mind as of current. She can even feel the surge of adventurous thrill, which was not her in the slightest bit. âI donât mind your company, so it didnât count as a bribe. Another deal?â
âSpare my introverted self will youu. How could I manage to last here if Iâm alone? Just count it as if youâre doing a good deed.â Luna took another sip of whatever alcoholic drink she had in her hand. Although she hates alcohol, she had nothing else to do. Socializing? No way. Taste all the food? she just did it with Alex just now, practically dragging her because sheâs bored as hell. âMaybe I shouldnât have drank this. Children will be sad to see an Alice drinking. Oh, but why should I care?â
âWell I donât care, I came for the free food.â
âYeah, free food and all, but you shouldnât eat fruits. I can fight you that fruits are evil.â she showed a strong disagreement. Fruits tastes sweet and fresh, but she had stopped eating them since who knows long ago. The trigger was a detailed fruits encyclopedia she read in her boring childhood. But honestly, she canât remember almost everything written on it so Luna just avoids them all together. She winces at the sight of sliced melons and bananas. Oh, yeah, donât forget bananas. âEspecially that yellow shits. It can be deadly as it is toxic-forming if combined with milk. andââ she paused when she saw a pasta, âAlso tomatoes. They disguise as vegetables but they canât fool me.â
Even before Casey speak, Luna already shook her head frantically while her eyebrows furrowed in anticipation. And upon hearing that he lost his phone, again, she sighed. âMy god, not again,â she stared at his face for a short while. Thinking why out of all people, Casey asked her. Well, he probably had asked his members first. But if the others canât find it, how is she supposed to find it? Sure, black magic, but not for this. âAs you can see, we are at the seas of humans here. You know what am I implying?âÂ
