So I got my first tattoo last week, but it wasn't just any tattoo.. my best friend and I put our heads together for a design and got it on her birthday. A single arrow means protection and defense from harm, and to also keep aiming ahead with force/power and not look back. Like sisters, Adrienne and I are protective/defensive when it comes to each other. We also plan to move ahead and grow stronger in our friendship, and not look back on disagreements we may encounter because our friendship is more important. We also decided to include the coordinates of the street we both grew up on; the street where we met, and that brought us close together. From riding bikes and playing in the snow when we were younger, to walking across the street for midnight snacks and late movie nights when we were older..we made so many memories. I'm so happy that you are in my life, and that we've became so close over the years. I view you (and your family) as my own and I wouldn't have it any different.
