Day 1
This is day 1 of my pre-water/juice fast, liquid fast!! I’m a little nervous, but mostly excited! It’s 6:14AM and so far I’ve had two glasses of sparkling juice, and two glasses of Dr. Pepper. My sleeping schedule is super messed up so I’ll be awake for several more hours before going to sleep. I’m hoping that this fast corrects my sleeping patterns.Â
I created an About Me page to inform people of my reasons for fasting and my plan. I’ve been really tempted to eat some of last nights dinner, but I keep willing myself not to. Writing this post is actually kind of distracting me from my hunger!! haha All my cravings are in my mind, so if I can channel those thoughts away with distractions, then I should be ok.
I weighed myself at around 1 this morning and came up to 222. Hopefully I can bring that down to 218 by the end of the day, but I don’t think I will be checking my weight for the next few days. I don’t want this fast to lead to obsessive weight control patterns, as I am not entirely focused on weight loss. In the mean time, I’ll be recording my cleanse symptoms. :)
