your plants are dying because you're buying them wrong
okay so hot take: your plants aren't dying because you're bad at gardening. they're dying because you bought the wrong plant for your space and nobody told you that was even a thing.
like you see a pretty monstera at the mall and you're like "i want that" but you don't think about whether your apartment has the light it actually needs. or whether your ac system is too intense. or whether you're actually home enough to water it.
that's why plants die.
i was doing this for months. just buying whatever looked nice. until i went to orbee plants and flowers in doha and actually talked to someone who asked me "okay where are you putting this? what's the light situation? how often are you actually home?"
suddenly i'm buying plants that actually survive. wild concept right.
also they have flowers that don't look like every other basic bouquet. so if you're in doha and you need flowers that actually mean something, they're good.
anyway this is just me saying you're not a plant killer. you're just buying the wrong plants for your space.
