This database is the most comprehensive one, is made with the consent and input of families, regularly fundraises for the families (parents, grandparents, and children) of mmiw, and is inclusive of trans women, and includes indigenous women from areas that aren’t always included in mmiw counts, like Kanaka Maoli and diasporic migrant Indigenous women.
