Degree Theory: Ascendants
Hi guys, I’ve honestly been having a lot of fun with the degree theory, so I’m gonna do this post on degrees on the ascendant and what they mean! I feel like I haven’t seen many posts on this, so I wanna try and make some!
🍇Aries degrees- 1°, 13°, 25°: With Aries degrees on the ascendant, I’d say that this individual likely wears the color red a lot or incorporates it into their look a lot. Maybe they might even have red hair or dye their hair red LMAO. This would be more in extreme circumstances though. I’d also say that they’ve maybe struggled with their appearance or maybe have gotten bullied for it. They also might’ve struggled to control how they look; maybe their parents or guardians had a big say in how they would dress or maybe they had a school uniform, and they struggled with their sense of individuality. They also could be athletic or appear to be athletic looking. They also might carry this air of authority as well, and are very courageous.
🍇Taurus degrees- 2°, 14°, 26°: With Taurus degrees on the ascendant, I’d say that this individual either dresses in the best clothes and is always dressed to the nines or they tend to have a more laidback fashion sense and like to dress comfortable. (An individual could ofc flip flop between the two). No matter how they dress, they seem to exude a sense of wealth and luxury. They look like they enjoy the finer things in life. I’d also say they maybe wear green a lot or incorporate it into their outfit a lot. I’d also say they probably have a really nice sounding voice too!
🍇Gemini degrees- 3°, 15°, 27°: With Gemini degrees on the ascendant, I’d say that this individual likes to dress in clothes with a lot of patterns, and likes to express themselves through their clothes. This person is probably always seen with a book, writing in a journal of some sort, or with their phone. They probably incorporate the color yellow into their outfits or wear it a lot. I’d also say that this individual likes to get manicures a lot; if not that they usually keep their hands and nails well groomed. This degree also deals with “double” so there’s something about them that’s doubled, maybe they have a double ear piercing, they wear two necklaces, etc.
🍇Cancer degrees- 4°, 16°, 28°: With Cancer degrees on the ascendant, I’d say this individual just radiates mom vibes, and if they’re masculine they still radiate this very caring and nurturing aura. They also might resemble their mothers a lot. They also might have a feminine touch to their appearance. They also tend to have a watery kind of look in their eyes and tend to show their emotions more on their face. They also might have a traditional style of dressing and tend to wear the color white a lot or incorporate white into their outfits a lot.
🍇Leo degrees- 5°, 17°, 29°: With Leo degrees on the ascendant, I’d say this individual radiates boldness and strength. Even if they have a soft demeanor, there’s still strength there. Soft but strong. They also might have hair that stands out, or just a big head of hair in general. They also draw a lot of attention to themselves whether they want to or not. Like Aries degrees, they look athletic or like they work out, even if they don’t, i.e. they have muscles or naturally toned legs, etc. Also, like Gemini degrees, they tend to express themselves through their appearance, whether it be with clothes, hair, or makeup. They also look like they’d be a lot of fun as well.
🍇Virgo degrees- 6°, 18°: With Virgo degrees on the ascendant, I’d say this individual has something “small” about them, whether it be a small build, their height, small hands, small feet, etc. There’s something noticeably small about them. I’d also say that this individual appears to be very healthy and they look like they take care of themselves. They’re “full of life”. On the contrary, they also might appear to be a little sickly looking. They could be pale or have cool undertones or a lack of color in their face. I’d also say that they appear to be those kinds of people who just seem to have everything together (even if they don’t). They also look “kind” and have the appearance of someone who’d you ask for directions or ask for help.
🍇Libra degrees- 7°, 19°: With Libra degrees on the ascendant, I’d say this individual radiates lawyer or businessperson vibes LMAO. They appear to be very balanced and level headed. They also might wear a lot of jewelry, particularly earrings. Individuals with these degrees might have multiple piercings or at least have regular ear piercings in general. These individuals might also always be seen working on some kind of creative project or always listening to music. They also likely have a really nice sense of style and can be very charming.
🍇Scorpio degrees- 8°, 20°: With Scorpio degrees on the ascendant, I’d say that this slightly darkens any rising sign that this individual has. Also, something about their vibe makes people confide their secrets in them. There’s also a slight sense of mystery to these individuals, even with a placement like Sagittarius rising, there’s always something there, like you’re not getting the full story with them. These individuals also have a subtle s*x appeal and they tend to deal with jealousy from others regarding their appearance. Also, like Taurus degrees, they exude a sense of wealth. They look like they come from money, even if they don’t. They also know how to give a really good death stare.
🍇Sagittarius degrees- 9°, 21°: With Sagittarius degrees on the ascendant, I’d say that this individual appears to be very intelligent and well-read. They give off the vibe of this really wise and philosophical person you’d ask for advice. They also might have a quality about them that’s “horse-like”; maybe they have a big mane of hair or a longer face. There also might be something about them that’s big, i.e. a big forehead, big shoulders, etc. In some cases, they might appear to be exotic or different looking compared to others in their area. They also appear to be very well traveled, and if they have traveled, they’re likely to wear accessories from places they’ve traveled to.
🍇Capricorn degrees- 10°, 22°: With Capricorn degrees on the ascendant, this individual just screams CEO energy. This person looks like they belong at the top of a business or in politics. They have this sense of authority like Aries degrees, and they can be intimidating. These individuals also might move very slow, or walk slow. They tend to take their time with things, and have very controlled movements. They also have a coldness to them, even if they’re a Cancer rising, there’s always that sense of coldness and detachment. They also might receive a lot of public attention from people for their appearance. They also might wear the color black a lot or incorporate it into their appearance. Lastly, they also might resemble their father.
🍇Aquarius degrees- 11°, 23°: With Aquarius degrees on the ascendant, I’m getting mad scientist vibes LMAO jk jk. However, there is something very unique to these individuals, whether it be their demeanor or something about their physical appearance (I mean this in a good way, btw). There’s something otherworldly about them. They also give off an intellectual vibe, like the Sagittarius degrees. They also might be constantly seen with their friends and are always learning about some cause and are helping others. Adversely, they might give off a detached vibe. Lastly, they might frequently be seen with their phone or using some kind of technology.
🍇Pisces degrees- 12°, 24°: With Pisces degrees on the ascendant, like Cancer degrees, individuals with these degrees might have “watery” eyes. These individuals also appear to always be daydreaming and you can never tell what they’re thinking. They also give off the vibe that makes people entrust them with their secrets and there’s also a sense of mystery about them. They also appear to be very laidback, and kind of detached from things. I kind of envision them as just sitting on the couch at a party, getting stoned and just chilling out LMAO. They’re usually just seen either daydreaming, getting stoned/drunk, doing some creative shit, or sleeping.
