Wonk: The 2016 Debate Bot
Props for a clean, elegant design. The problem I have with this screen is that it doesn't give me a reason to move to the next step. "See you on the other side" could be replaced with the app's UVP (eg "Beautiful magazines on your Android"). Applying the black and white filter to the magazines image adds to the elegance but also makes it more difficult to see at a glance that these are magazine covers. I am also not too sure about using the brand color (orange) for the sign up button. There isn't a right choice and a wrong choice here. Colors complementary to orange might work as well while preserving the elegant feel of the app.
They say if you want to manipulate someone, ask them to choose between two options, one of which is not really an option. Aggressive mobile web to mobile app conversion, for Quora. I'm sure its pretty effective too :)
It's in our nature to collect the things we love. Brilliant framing of a new product feature, Flipboard.
Nice single screen overlay for a first time user experience, albeit a bit crowded and lacking hierarchy / focal points
Fun copy!
