All I Could See Was Blue

Clexa Week | Day 2: Lexa never left

Summary: They won the war but the Grounders have suffered a huge blow. Lexa can’t help but blame Clarke for everything.

Notes: I wanted to make people consider that maybe Lexa’s choice to betray Clarke, however painful it was for all of us and the girls themselves, wasn’t that bad. This is angsty but for a good reason :) in this timeline, Lexa didn’t take the deal but maybe that was the worst choice she could have possibly made.

It was hard not to muse on what could have happened. What if. What if not. Maybe if something had gone slightly differently. Maybe if different decisions had been made. Maybe. Perhaps. Who knows…

Maybe in some other timeline, in some other universe, this was not their fate. Maybe she would have said yes. Maybe she would have made that decision with her head instead of her heart.

What do you mean by "Romantic Unions"?

This would be some sort of arranged marriage and/or dating situation (possibly fake dating) that occurs between two characters in the show. As long as the main couple is Clarke Griffin and Commander Lexa, the circumstance of who is paired up in accordance with the theme should not matter.

What's this clexa week? What do I do what do you do what?

Basically it’s something for all writers, fan artist, and people who just want to enjoy the creations that come out of the week. There are generalized prompts for each day of the week, and the overall theme is canon divergence; all voted on through surveys we’ve been doing.

All post tagged with clexaweek will be reblogged to here, and once each day is finished we will make a master post of the day.

Okay, due to some delays we will be moving the clexa week up one week, meaning it will be starting Monday, July 20th and it will last to July 26th.

The schedule will go as follows:

Tuesday: Lexa never left 2x15

Wednesday: Role Reversal 

Thursday: Tropes

Friday: Someone doesn’t die

Saturday: Both Clarke and Lexa come from the sky/or ground

Sunday: Post season 2

A reminder that the theme is canon divergence, so try to follow that to some degree. And any type of creation is welcome, whether it be a fanmix, writing, or some kind of art. All you need to do is tag your creation with clexaweek in the first five tags, and it will be reblogged to here.

The most important thing is to have fun, though! You don’t have to do all of the prompts if you don’t want to, you can submit multiple things for one day, or your engagement can just be enjoying what comes out of clexa week.

We have general resources as well as the 100 resources on our blog. And our inbox is always open if there are questions.

Of course! Anything is allowed. Fanmixes, fanart, gif sets, writing. Feel free to do anything as long as it resembles the prompt in some way.
