In Super Mario Sunshine, a unique glitch changes Mario’s interaction with durians simply by jumping inside a sewer in Delfino Plaza.

Top: usually, when Mario touches a durian, it will be kicked away with a force proportional to Mario’s speed when he touches it.

Middle: however, if Mario enters a sewer and jumps, this causes some of his hitbox interactions to change permanently until he leaves Delfino Plaza.

Bottom: upon returning from the sewer, Mario will always kick durians at full force, no matter how slowly he moves. Note the durians being kicked with a disproportionate amount of force.
