{I’m really feeling hybrid verse, would anyone want a starter for that?}

      Aaren slowly brings themselves closer to the other, sniffing, tilting their head to the side afterwards. They sit back, head still tilted as a look of confusion slowly making it’s way onto their features. “–J-just p-pass-passing t-th-th-through? W-wh-where a-are y-you g-going?”

     That’s the million dollar question. Mewtwo is silent in thought, trying to pull his thoughts together in a way that might make sense. He looks down and hums lightly to himself. “I am. . . uncertain. Wherever I may be able to fit into this world.” It’s the truth, but where could one such as him fit in?

     Their curiosity had brought them closer to the stranger, though they’re quick to jump backwards, back going ablaze when they heard the voice and noted the glare– timid, as Cyndaquil was known for. “I d-don’t– um, I w-was– I’ve n-n-never s-seen y-y-you h-here–”

     Perhaps the hybrid had been too harsh on the small pokemon, especially one so timid. Mewtwo sighs at himself and slowly crouches down. His expression softens as he speaks. “I. . . apologize.” He says in a softer tone, after all, the pokemon had done nothing wrong. “I mean you no harm. I am just passing through.”

          “did you need something?” it isn’t quite an offer for help, it’s more so informing that he has been bothered and that she has entered the area he deems his own. he stays where he is, watching the goddess closely and with the slight paranoia humanity and this place had put into him.

     “what are you doing here?” he asks with telepathy and a glare. it isn’t as if he owns the area, he was just enjoying the peace of the night and he hadn’t expected anyone else to be coming here. he turns to face them, studying the other closely for any hint of a threat.
