we're doing oedipus the king in our literature class and i honestly don't give two fucks about the play or the characters in general but you bet your ass i will take the opposite view from my professor simply because i don't like him, he thinks oedipus was noble and a victim WELL i think oedipus was fucking stupid and an asshole, he thinks oedipus killing his father was wrong simply because he think killing is wrong WELL sometimes murder is OK and yes that includes patricide too, he thinks iocaste was an important character in the play WELL personally i think she was just a plot device
