No but can we talk about this? Toothless instantly ADORES Valka! I think that the dragon understands very well that she’s Hiccup’s mother. They maybe smell alike, and Toothless is very smart for a dragon. He saw them together and he probably had immediately associated the behavior of both. She is nearly a stranger, even if she is so good with dragons… But look at him! He is practically purring for her. He felt instant trust toward Valka, and I think he is SO HAPPY for Hiccup now. Look at him, especially in the first gif and in the last two: he LOVES her. He is so grateful for her presence. He let her touch him without hesitation! She litterally put her head inside his mouth, but look at Toothless, look at his eyes! He doesn’t even care! “She can do whatever she want! I’m SO HAPPY about this!” Yet, I think he knows who she is because he shows respect for her. We all know that Toothless loves to lick when he’s happy or excited, like a kiss, just like dogs… but look at the third and the fourth gif! He just show the tongue like he was asking “can I kiss you?” and when Valka touches his tongue he is SO pleased! Look at his expression at the end of the fourth gif! He has a shiver of pleasure! And then he looks at her with natural love. Hiccup is his brother, an equal, but this is a mom. His brother’s mom. Toothless found a mom!

 …………..it’s been a while for some httyd post………. I’ve forgot about this. just use this for my own ref. [it’s funny that’s I drawn only front :V ] I ever finish this before Cloundjumper Toothless and Stormfly. *insanity laugh*

yeah…actually I’m gonna stop here. it’s not getting anywhere and I’m getting lost in rendering and just enjoying the brush stroke and texture. I finally find my right brush for SAI. I like these texture and these effects it has.

I’m not sure if this turns out a little off. I don’t know how dragons actually age in this world. But from HTTYD2 when Valka said Toothless is HIccup’s age and that’s why they get along so well. It must means dragons and human age quite similarly. (Most likely except for bewilderbeast, red death, fireworm queen or creatures of that scale) 

So. I think Cloudjumper *in human age* could be younger than Valka. I don’t even know, it’s completely baseless. I just happen to have things for men who fell for an older lady? But he listen to her and all. It’s just a preference.

and I know everyone else went down with Stoick’s ship *yes I went there* So I’m gonna sail this damned ship alone. uh. but when I say I ship a pair, it never meant I think they are totally in love and all that.

It’ll always be one sided.
