Good Omens 3 Pre Finale Metatron theory Pt. 2

There's other oddities especially in s2 that imply Crowley is very much more powerful than really explicitly delved into. He changes the weather, strikes lightning on himself, opens up a wormhole to hell, and brings Mr Brown back like nothing happened (prob not revived like from the dead but the point still stands). One small moment I picked up on is in s2 ep 3 Azira motions for him to stop time at Sir Dalrymple, which without more evidence could just be Aziraphale again asking Crowley to do something he's uncomfortable with. But looking back even in s1 ep3 in France Crowley pauses time to talk to/save/go out for lunch with Aziraphale. Armageddon is literally happening and Azira begs *Crowley* to do something, in which he again stops time (with his neat hand crank seen in his angel days mind you). Not to mention his car was ya know literally on fire for a long ass time, and held on from only Crowley’s pure spite and imagination. I genuinely think that Aziraphale for sure cannot pause time, and I definitely can see this coming back into the finale with the literal end of the world and needing Crowley's help. Whenever Aziraphale does miracles it's usually for smaller tasks things like, adapting technology, raising a chandelier, making a vespa float, doing a sigil, changing a car color, changing peoples clothes, ect. When he uses more energy, like his halo, it's shown as straining and exhausting the limits of his power. Again this isn't to say Aziraphale is weak, and I can totally see him having his moment in s3 especially in his resolution with Crowley and Heaven. I just think this will definitely come back up in the finale as we delve into Crowley's past, and the strengthening of them needing to save the world together. If they ran away from Armageddon, Jim, or the Second Coming like Crowley urged the Earth just as much would have ended 3x over without Aziraphale. I also wonder what the implication in s2 ep6 when Gabriel stated he was the only archangel in the world and the camera cuts to a close up of Crowley, maybe he was once supposed to be/was an archangel. Maybe even the Metatron’s real plan was if Aziraphale was to bring back Crowley they would have a powerful person with no allegiance to Hell and a valuable asset back in Heaven. But that would imply that Heaven makes mistakes, which they obviously do not. And even if Crowley didn't end up back up in Heaven then at least he couldn't get in the way of their plans. If the bumbling softy Aziraphale didn't follow through and tried some shenanigans then at least Crowley wouldn’t be on his (their own) side either. Kinda a win win, and the Metatron knows Aziraphale is going to take the coffee anyways, he's right when he knows nobody asks for death.

Good Omens 3 Pre Finale Metatron theory Pt. 1 ig

Okok theory on what I think the ending will be/main points, bc we really have been spoiler free except for soundtrack gate of 26’ causing me to delete twitter just like the Every scandal (aww memories). And the cast has stated how there's so much for us to find out and the trailer did a good job of not revealing much. So im gonna have a lot of maybe this maybe that especially since the consolidation to 90 mins. I think the biggest thing is that the Metatron has not been able to talk with God and if he has its been a lot less than he makes it out to be. God plays her own game and in S1 and S2 has been shown time and time again that Crowley and Azirphale cannot reach god, for example obs the s1 ep 4 portal biz but s2 really highlights this in the Jobb episode. Their absolute astonishment that God is actually themselves *talking* to somebody. I also wanted to highlight Crowley's continuous pleas to god in s1 in og armageddon, all unanswered. If the (now the former) head archangel didn't even know what God ineffable plan is, how crazy would it be that the Metatron is making most of it up as he goes? Somebody has to have answers, someone has to make decisions. Maybe even decisions like who falls and who stays. I defo think that clip in the trailer saying you know you're not allowed in here is 100000% a flashback to Crowley. I mean even his robe is from the older tunic/robe era, also the shadow cast in the doorway is defooo angel Crowley's. Obs this is related to his fall since its been something kept intentionally vague for the past 35ish years, it would be thematically relevant and a nice fan service thing for the finale to reveal. I think Crowley asked too many questions, and maybe some unauthorized shenanigans that will affect the finale. I mean did he truly work very closely with upstairs for his super nova? Even though he didn't know anything about the very much important plans in the creation of humans, created in God's image and all that. If I had to guess, possibly not as such. I also have a feeling that making Aziraphale head archangel was more of a ploy than just "he'd be a good fit”. Heaven treats earth as secondary class, it's very obvious in how no one from upstairs ever goes down to visit it unless for business, or for the occasional morning run. Which is why Aziraphale, an angel who doesn't really fit in and (especially in s1) very much stepped over and ignored, got assigned to it. But Hell sent Crowley to watch over the Earth, partly because they are desperate for any win against Heaven but I also believe because they think of Crowley as someone capable of doing their bidding. Probably somewhat perpetuated by the notes he sends to head office, but I do think there's reasons why they don't question it. I noticed in how s2 when the tiny miracle to protect Gabriel was being questioned by Heaven and Hell, when Aziraphale lies and says he conjured a miracle himself he is laughed at. Saraquel scoffs and says "Don't tell me you did it”, and Aziraphales retorts “I did a biiiig miracle.” This isn't to say Aziraphale is weak or anything, but that Heaven has no reason or even belief he has the capability to do a miracle like that and if he did it would have taken a lottt of energy for him to do. However when Crowley is questioned by Shax, he simply states “How did you know I didn't do it?”. Shax does not respond to this, no quip and no scoffs. She has no problem in pointing out any insecurities to anyone, especially when she harps on Aziraphale and Maggie. Yet she doesn't even try to deny that claim?

Good Omens 3 Pre Finale Silly Predictions and Hopes :3

I predict that Jesus will be curious, rambunctious, and will have fagcentmaniaaaaa. He’ll escape/leave to earth maybe out of boredom, curiosity, or just out of the kindness of not wanting to destroy humanity. I'm mostly banking on the curious/boredom thing since I feel like it would be a nice difference between Adam Young the anti christ having more humility. I think Michael will go AWOL because Aziraphale gets either a slap on the wrist by god in the end by saving the world, or just so fucking sick and tired of Aziraphales/maybe Jesus shennagins and decides to finish the job themselves and who ever else will follow them. Crowley doesn't have his Bentley and has been sleeping on the floor of some dingy ass alleyway which is like alright man you didnt make any stock investments or like have a bank account in the 6000 years you've been on earth thats on you. I feel like my mans might of gotten robbed by the mafia, but also would the Bentley allow itself to be robbed ehhhhhhh?? So there's a possibility Bentley ran/drove away on its own which is insane for Crowley to be abandoned twice god DAYUM. I think the it will happen three times + one without galoshes is referring to kisses :3 But also taking this one with a grain of salt as that was stated before the finale was reduced to a 90 min special, so its very possible that that line may be null and void. But also I'm very excited to figure out what the cast has been hinting at that's bigger than the s2 kiss, like its gotta be BIG. Throwing my hat in the ring they might do that 360 cam kiss that was originally gonna be in S2, and if the “3 times one without galoshes” line is still applicable then I think we’ll have a kiss in the rain before one/both attempt to sacrifice themselves for the fate of the world and then one last kiss when reunited and the world is saved :).

I do wish we get at least one Queen song and just a little itty bitty cameos from the past side cast from s1 and s2. I know we will be seeing a lot of the residents of Soho from s2 appear and take charge but I’ll be a little sad if I never hear about the Them, or Anamethama, or Maggie and Nina, Haster, or fuck it Shadwell and Madame Tracy idc I love them. Furfur I give less of a shit about so sorry to my Furfur fans. I will only tolerate a Nazi zombie cameo if and ONLY IF they conclude the 1941 storyline properly and not just in a throwaway line or god forbid not mention it at all you WILL see me on the news if so. There's hints that Aziracrow will have a callback to their dance/apology dance and cmon 1941 is a perfect callback to set that upppp please pleas pspsps please.

I hope and know they will get their southdowns garden and maybe ill eat my words or whatever but I just don't think “they become human” is a good way to end the series. Sure take away their miracle abilities but if they arent functionally immortal what the fuck are they gonna do in like 30 years when they die cmon. If they live out their lives in the bookshop snowglobe as well again you'll see me on the news mark my words, the point is that they interact with the world that's what makes them different than Gabriel and Beelzebub. I think more thematically it will be like earth is like a snowglobe to God kinda just chilling on their desk, letting the snow settle and shaking it when they feel the need to. Makes sense with how uninvolved she seems in the whole thing. Anyways I think the we’ve come to a decision thing and the whole apple tree will obs tie back into that famous line “It starts as it will end, in a garden.” It must, and it will.

Good Omens 3 pre finale what I know/what we know

In season 3 of Good Omens, Jesus is now a prominent character with the background of the second coming ever so prominent and approaching fast. He looks much younger than his earthly counterpart seen in Season 1 Ep. 3 cold open, wearing a wool sweater with a button up underneath showing roses. Roses in the bible represent many words as beauty, divine creation, purity, blooming, and like the thorns like of jesus crown, beauty with the suffering. As well as the ‘Mystical Rose’ being another name for the Virgin Mary. Crowley and Aziraphale are now separated. With Aziraphale as the Supreme Archangel and Crowley running around the streets of Soho alone, humanity is a ticking timebomb with only two beings who can save it. And they aren't talking.

What we know;

The solid facts is the un-written sequel book (cannot fucking find a source but this has been known before S2 I swear) that during the second coming jesus takes an airplane and gets lost in New York City and its up to Crowley and Aziraphale to track him down and stop the second coming and the end of the world. We know few hints from fuck ass bitch; “Now in Season Three, we will deal once more with the end of the world. The plans for Armageddon are going wrong. Only Crowley and Aziraphale working together can hope to put it right. And they aren't talking.”, pedometer, “It will happen three times, but the last time it will be without galoshes”. Michaels actor in an interview says that her character goes AWOL. The book “The Crow Road” was given to Muriel outside Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death, a book a metaphor for death ( the aforementioned ‘Crow Road’), Rob Wilkins and other cast going yeah the kiss was crazy but does it top-, the final clapboard "we've come to a decision”, and “it will start as it will end in a garden.”
