So let me get this straight, Dru has issues so many issues with cmbyn, but not him playing against Leo, in the well documented much talked about relationship between J.Edgar, and Clyde. And no issue with playing My Queer War author, James Lord? Not to mention the array of murdering, slave owning, arsehole characters...

But just this one film. Just this one character, of a seemingly well off boy, with societal, familial, and internal expectations, in a time of political conservatism and vilification of not only gay men, but any out of the cookie cutter lifestyles. Who, against his better judgement, chooses that suffocating life expected of him, no matter how heartbreaking?

Huh.

I cannot imagine for the life of me why this one little film triggered him, and everyone he knows. Still. Almost a fuckin' decade in.

The full trailer for season 2 of "Heels" is finally out and it looks great!!! :D Jack's dealing with his wife having left and estranged relationship with his brother Ace, Ace is struggling too, Crystal is now an actual wrestler and the DWL are actually adding more female wrestlers, Bobby seems to be now a ref and one of the announcers as well as it exploring more of his and Crystal's relationship, Rooster has a new wrestling persona, there's new cast additions like Emmy Raver Lampman from "Umbrella Academy", and looks like CM Punk is a series regular now too as Ricky. Excited to watch and it's back July 28th.

Such a great show! Just discovered it on Netflix. I’m not a wrestling fan but the show is about more than wrestling. Such great characters and writing. DEFINITELY check it out
