When you and Diavolo started dating you almost instantly scratched marriage out of whatever future plans had.
He was the Prince of Hell and holy matrimony didnāt really appear to you to be a thing downthere.
But Diavolo had very different plans in mind.
There was no way in all hell, heaven and earth that anything was going to prevent him from holding a grand ceremony to celebrate your love.
He loved you so much. He just had to show it to the world.
In fact, he wanted to show his love for you so bad that he proposed in front of the entire R.A.D.
And while you now cringe a bit at the memory of that day just thinking about all those demonās eyes fixed on youā¦ Well on the actual day you couldnāt have cared less about them, your attention being focused on your prince, kneeling down in front of you with and looking right at you with so much love and hopeĀ in his eyes.Ā
And you said yes. Without a second thought, probably without even realizing what you just said. You just said yes.
He walked down the aisle first, full of confidence not even shaking a bit.
Actually when he joined Lucifer and Barbatos next to the altar he was wriggling in eagerness.
And there you entered the room as well. Determinedly walking towards him, looking right in his eyes with a gentle, loving smile on your face.
You looked so happy. So beautiful.
Had you always looked so beautiful? Of course in his eyes you had always been one of a kind but today? For the day that was just about the two of you. For the day that celebrated your love in front of his entire kingdom.Ā It was like you were surrounded by a shiny glow.
And that made Diavolo feel so special.
That you who was already so amazingly beautiful could still enhance your beauty even further just from the joy of standing here in front of him.
As soon as youāre standing in front of him, he eagerly grabs both your hands in his and brings them to his lips to leave a gentle kiss on your knucles.
āYou look stunning my loveā You feel his lips move on your skin as he tells you so.
The ceremony isnāt much different from an actual wedding, some words are lost, some others are added adn your priest is a demon butler. But appart from that nothing changed much.
You said your vows while Diavolo looked at you with such eyes and such smiles that for a second he seemed so much like a puppy you actually thought you saw a tail wagging behind his back.
You kept talking, theĀ words sometimes getting stuck in your throat because of the emotion building inside of you, but Diavolo always aware of your needs just kisses the back of your hands and you feel the warmth of his love passing through your body giving you strenght to continue.
When itās his turn to say his vows, his hand travels to your cheek, caressing it softly as he recites each word.
When finally comes the time of the long-awaited kiss to finally seal it all, Diavolo literally sweep you off your feet, with such strenght that you along with everyone else in the room apparently hearing their terrified gasps, thought that he was going to send flying to the roof. Laughing at his eagerness, and still in his arms you cup his cheeks in your hands and finally lean down to leave a soft kiss on his awaiting lips. Kiss that he immediately passionetly returns.
Youāre married now. He is now your precious husband.
