Okay I think she's as done as she's going to get. My first doll ever!

Excuse her nude and decapitated sister, there. (My own sister's first custom in progress lol)

So for my first custom, I decided to do acrylic yarn hair and reroot it. I bought a cheap rerooting tool and uhhh yeah I did break 3 needles... one that didn't break right away kept slipping out of the base. But I think I've figured out the length to cut the needle to.

Anyway, it's done!

Poured glue into her head last night and brushed it out better this morning. I kinda love the messy 80s vibe it had untrusted, but she's scheduled to have an updo so... maybe the next one.

I FOUND IT

So! After quite some time, I'm back on my bullshit.

Here's what we're starting with this time:

The log cabin, which I picked up off the WalMart website for like $30 CAD months ago. I see now the price is way up so wtf right? Anyway, I'm turning it into an 80s horror movie cabin! Basing the exterior on the vibe of the Evil Dead cabin, naturally.

And so we begin!

Learned a lot doing the devil house, and one of those things was "just use the tape." Really did not notice how yellow this thing is until I got the paint on, there.

The 80s horror cabin project begins!

Oh my word I suck at making clothes... the pants are stolen from the goat dad, but I made the shirt and jacket. It's far from perfect but I think serviceable enough for this lil guy.

Jason mask is Fimo and acrylic paint.
