An Introduction To This Blog:
Hello clown tumblr! About one year ago, the mods of this blog had decided to take the plunge into the world of raising and breeding clowns- otherwise known as clown husbandry. It has been an incredible journey that we hope will continue throughout our entire lives. But now, we have a place to keep record and interact with other members of the community: this blog!
An introduction to myself, one of the mods on this new and exciting journey-
Hello there! My name is Grace, and I’ve been interested in clown husbandry from a very young age. My neighborhood has always been full of them, so I have been seeing clowns around me my entire life. Unfortunately, my childhood home wasn’t suitable for raising clowns of most varieties, so I grew up clownless.
But one year ago, just before I moved away from home, something extraordinary happened to me. As I’ve said before, the neighborhood I grew up in had many clowns- but that also included stray clowns. Furthermore, there was a particularly large stray clown colony right down the street from me.
I was about to leave home, and move out to live on my own. Never did I expect to find a miniature porcelain jester lying on the ground with a fractured cheek. She was in very rough shape, and of course I took her to the vet right away, where she made a miraculous full recovery.
Fast forward one year, and our little family is doing quite well. Me and Pinky, the aforementioned miniature porcelain jester, have grown quite close. I will make an introduction post for her in particular soon!!
That’s it for my introduction, and I look forward to sharing my future experiences with you all!

Hey everyone! I’m Mod Ana, the other mod for this blog.
I grew up in an area with a good amount of clowns. I always used to love them when I got to see them, and my parents would always take me to watch them. Sadly, our house was pretty small and wasn’t suited for raising clowns, so I could only interact with them if I asked my parents first.
When I left home, I moved into a house more suited for clown care. I had been volunteering at the local clown shelter and learned the needs of many different clown species and how to take care of them. Once I moved into my current house, I adopted a clown I was thinking of adopting for a while. His name is Remy, and he’s a beautiful lune-noir mix!
At first, he was wary of me; he had always been more antisocial, and didn’t really trust anyone who worked at the shelter that much. But, with lots of care (and, admittedly, spoiling him quite a bit), he warmed up to me after a while. We’ve been happily living together for a little under a year now!
Mod Grace and I have been friends for a while, since before we got our clowns. We decided to make a blog for it to give advice on clown care and meet other clown owners, since we’ve found such a large community here.
It’s nice to meet you all!
